On the Moskva... the Ukrainians are saying it was hit by a Ukrainian torpedo... but are they really going to admit it if they used a weapon provided by NATO?

Have a feeling we're going to hear about a lot of 'Ukrainian' armaments in the next few weeks...
Why couldn't you buy NATO weapon? It's not like they haven't bought Javelins before the war...

Don't underestimate Ukraine's indigenous weapon development & defence industry. Its much bigger than you think, its just up until now no one in the West really paid much attention to it, but they produce alot of home grown armaments for their armed forces, only the really big ticket items like warships & jets are purchased from abroad.
Stuhna P is pretty great, it blew my mind that the optic system was done in Belarus. I thought they have pretty much no industry.

Just read about Medvedev who is saying if Finland joins Nato, Russia will start "operations" on Baltic Sea.

Sigh. How insecure you have to be? But then again, if you attacked another country without any provocation or reason, guess it's understable you'd be scared of others doing the same to you.

Big talk from a guy who is 163 cm "tall".

There should be a height limit in Russia on who get to high positions. That should rule out any Napoleon-esque manlets.

They make decent weapons, but many of them are dated Soviet designs that have been spruced up. I'd argue they probably do a better job of that than the Russian Federation, especially given their budget, but they are still nowhere near the best. Still, if it takes out the target without killing the operator, who cares?

Jimmy Dore and Russell Brand have gone full Q-tard. They've mastered the art of baiting and feeding them what they want to hear in a subtle enough manner to avoid youtube bans. With all the real Q youtubers banned, there was a huge audience for them to absorb.

You should check out lonerbox video on Russel and Ukraine.
Does an amazing job of exposing Brands idiotic takes.

What are those operations going to be? How to attack NATO troops with a sharpened potato?

Their army is clearly fucked if it can’t even beat tiny little Ukraine. All Putin has done is show his poor hand to the world. Sweden and Finland will join NATO, and we’ll park a few multibillion dollar SkullFucker 3000s on their borders, and the Russians will shut the absolute fuck up and like it.

An overview of the Moskva in the extremely detailed hardcore sim DCS. Where at 13 minutes in they mention the fire control radar for the main SAM missiles has a 120 degree arc. "Maybe we can take advantage of that"

As with so many other things, the list of systems that should have prevented this loss is huge. Three levels of air defense, ECM systems, multiple search radars, countermeasures, all of this would make an attack with just two missiles hopeless. But it's all out of order apparently or stripped of its parts to sell on the black market.

Russia getting absolutely nobbed big time in this proxy war.

Did they really think this would go any other way against the intelligence and weaponry of the US, UK and their allies? They are just strategically absolutely tin pot, this is men vs boys, they’re ran by idiots. They’ve shattered the carefully curated image that they built up for decades that they are a serious military power. They’d get absolutely wiped out by the UK alone.

I’m pretty stunned really that they are sending billions of pounds worth of ships and armoured vehicles to get obliterated.

I can only imagine they thought the nuclear deterrent would keep countries from providing weapons and intelligence, well what a giant miscalculation that was.

The reputational damage done to the Russian armed forces will be a monkey on their back for years, decades to come and the Russian military high command will be more worried about that, than the cannon fodder casualties they've taken.

News from my sources in Moscow: 1. Shoigu dropped out of the game, maybe he will become disabled if he survives. He suddenly had an extensive heart attack, he is in intensive care, connected to the devices. There are rumors that a heart attack may not have occurred for natural reasons.

20 generals of the Ministry of Defense were arrested. All staff. Everything is clear here - the total theft of funds for the preparation of the Ukrainian leadership and the population for the solemn meeting of the army of liberators from Russia. Since 2014, about $10 billion allocated by Putin for the preparation of blitzkrieg has been stolen.

It's funny. Arkady Dvorkovich is still under house arrest. He is expected to testify on his colleagues and friends. Sources in the FSB say that if he does not make a deal with the investigation, he will be transferred to the pre-trial detention center Matrosskaya Tishina or Lefortovo.

That is all for now, that’s it.

Doesn't seem like the Moskva sank. Sounds like Russia might have been able to tow it to a nearby port for repairs. Either way its out of the action and will be a long time before its operational again, so Russia still losses.

If it's inoperable, then it's a kill, because it no longer posses danger.

It’s almost like the consequences of running a country as a kleptocracy with no institutional integrity creates a hollow shell propped up by fraud and lies, which come crumbling down when it’s actually tasked to do…anything.

Those who want to cut out all oversight and “red tape” take note what happens when it goes too far

If it actually rolled over and flooded, it’s done for years even if they can drag its burned out carcass back to shore.

That's the culture of power in Russia though, it's a country that has never had democracy. Have you heard the phrase "he who doesn't steal, steals from his own family"? It reveals how the people dare conceive of the system, you enter the system and you can steal a little, the more you rise, the more you steal, with a very strong man at the top.

What I would find interesting is how different Russia and China are in this aspect. Because obviously one of them is thriving, even with all the lies and corruption, and the other one isn't.

A ship surviving an ‘ammo store detonation’ is pretty darn impressive. Interesting that the Ukrainians haven’t released any footage of the strike as well.

No, because they just commissioned their indigenous anti-ship missile at the end of last year.

Exactly, recently e.g. I discovered that they produce their own smart artillery shells. Few countries has this capability and that's why their are nailing Russian armor with extreme precision.

Oh this forum is perfectly capable of honest debate, you're just not interested in it due to your militant reductivism.
Hence my contention.

Le Pen is leader of the nationalistic far-right in France.
Her party, the Front National, engages in the same alt-right populism (anti vaxx, globalist conspiracy, corona denial, etc..) to stay relevant.

She's pretty much the worst and probably in Putin's pocket.

China can’t be happy either seeing all this Russian shit they also bought getting destroyed easily.

As much as people like to bandy around borderline conspiracies, getting footage of combat just isn't a priority. Why risk losing an asset just for some propaganda (not necessarily the bias type)?

It's good to be skeptical and critical, but often there isn't some big cover up.

This isn't for our entertainment.

Well I mean we've already been hearing about Ukrainian armaments for weeks and weeks now. For example one of the reasons why Ukraine hasn't been requesting shipments of battle rifles for their special forces is because they have their own homegrown battle rifle developed in Ukraine that is actually pretty great if the stories I have seen about it is true.

Jack Tramiel is responsible for the Atari ST (and C64 which was arguably a bigger deal than Amiga). Jay Miner was the father of the Amiga.

Jack was the business man and marketer. He didn't make the 8-bit C64 either.

He did make it hugely popular though.
