Russia going back to their XX century tactics and crimes.

qfQqFl5.jpg

In a way maybe it was almost inevitable and long overdue. Russians never had to pay for their crimes in WW2. It had to bubble back up so it could be squashed. In the 90s, it almost seemed like they had sidestepped it.

It's like a story arc from the past that demands to find itself a resolution, from which there's no escape. The nature of nature.

Yes, Russia had a couple of tangents with Democracy, with the Kerensky and the Gorbachev governments, but those were very limited experiments, that lasted very little.
Russian society has a tendency of always bringing out the very worst to the top.

It doesn't make me feel great that the area with a nuclear power plant doesn't have Patriot cover.

There are four plants, with 15 reactors, only 2 have proper AA in the area.. :\ Then you also have the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant sarcophagus..

An attack on a nuclear power plan is akin to a nuclear attack.
NATO and the USA, have already stated that if Russia uses nuclear weapons in Ukraine, then NATO will enter the war.
And this would mean the complete obliteration of the Russian forces in all of Ukraine.
So Russia has all interest in not doing a major attack on a nuclear power plant, so not to escalate the war into a complete immediate defeat.
For all the postering that Russia does, they know their regime is walking a thin line and that a direct provocation of NATO would be the end of it.

They already got spicy trying to capture that nuclear plant, and there were perilously close on-site explosions in the process.

Russia has also by mistake shot down a passenger airliner.

I'd still rather have air defenses than rely on my enemies' reasoning/self interest.

Moscow region plunges into crisis as utility services fail amid war spending.

Tonight, Russia launched S-300 missiles into a civilian area in Donetsk, killing 11 people, including 5 children. It is a heartbreaking reminder of the daily reality of Russia’s strikes across Ukraine. Our condolences to the families and loved ones.

russia bombing city which they currently occupied?
Holy shit. Russia can't even afford to keep the utilities working in Moscow, and uses police to silence people protesting that they're freezing in their apartments? This is the most damning sign of the end.
they falling into chaos, and pretending everything is fine, they can't survive on lies.

Russian media: 16-year-old Russian arrested for allegedly torching Su-34 jet at Chelyabinsk airbase.

91% of russian drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense in December. Still, 30 out of 335 drones reached the target. We need to give Ukraine the ability to defend itself.

In the Moscow Region, people were forced to make a bonefire to keep themselves warm.

Russia has deployed around 35,000 Rosgvardia (National Guard) soldiers for repression against Ukrainians, according to the Center for National Resistance.

There are several reports indicating that Ukrainian forces have retaken & pushed back the Russians from the area SE of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region.

The suspected wreckage of Iran's new Shahed 238 has been found in #Ukraine, just a few weeks after the drone was put in service by #Iran
The Shahed-238 is a turbo-prop drone, and thus differs from prior versions of the drone (Shahed 136 and 131) that used a propeller. It flies at higher speed, making it more difficult to shoot.
I will note that this suggests Iran has been making headways when it comes to the development or acquisition of turbo jet - which were initially fairly rare and only appeared on the latest drones. Using it on a suicide drone would suggest Iran is capable of acquiring or producing it at scale.

Evidence Russia Is Now Using Jet Shahed Kamikaze Drones Emerges
Iranian-designed, jet-powered Shahed-238 drones used by Russia would be much faster and harder to shoot down than the prop-powered Shahed-136.

What kind of equipment does Ukraine need to defend itself from these ballistic missile attacks? These seem to be the biggest problem at the moment and they seem to be as inaccurate as fuck but the shitheel firing them doesn't care what they hit anyway.

That deployment makes it appear that there is indeed a strong partisan presence in Ukraine, unlike some muskovite mouthpieces who have claimed otherwise. Perhaps the misinfo was trying to bait into revealing.

It would be a great time for Ukraine to have a breakthrough and eliminate a large contingent of this breed of orc.

It is not a easy question to answer really, but above all, tons of more AA, of all sorts.

Down low, for both defense and offense, they need TONS of more ammunition, they almost have enough of AA and IDA's, but they lack ammo. The west are slow at ramping up the production of the most commonly used ammunition types.

(For the defense, they needs tons of more armoured vehicles, yes, I am looking at you, USA, with your 3,7 K Abram's in storage. IN STORAGE!!!!!! Alongside 1800 unused HMMWV's, that are all just sitting and collecting dust.. :\ They are never going to be reactivated for a new theatre, ship them over, then you produce new shit for yourself, as you allready are, it's a zero sum cost).

If it's true they have all those atacms hitting expire dates and will be decommissioned they could at least give some of those, or all. Very frustrating, it feels like the west want to drag it out to cost russia more at the expense of Ukraine, although some euro countries seem to be stepping up more I guess.

Russian Navy Captain Freezes to Death in His Own Home. In recent weeks, local Russian telegram channels have been publishing photos and videos of Russians making bonfires in their yards as temperatures plummet and heating supplies fail.

ANOTHER VIDEO from Novosibirsk, Russia showing streets flooded with hot water running onto the streets. The temperature is now -13C in the city, with two districts without heating.

Amazing footage of yesterday's duel between a Bradley and a T-90M from Reddit. Suffice to say the ones inside the tin can doing cartwheels, if alive, must have some kind of warm sludge coming out of their ears after all that bonk bonk bonk bonk. Nice to see that nearly decommisioned relic from the Cold War vs THE LATEST AND GREATEST AND GLORIOUSEST 😁

The bradley is by far the most effective vehicle Ukraine has right now based on everything i've seen and read about its performance in this war. Its criminal that we only gave them such a small number when there's thousands currently wasting away in warehouses over here.

Such a peppy little machine. Pentagon “reformers” hated it because they didn’t understand the difference between APC and IFV roles.

Read about Gonzalo Lira's death yesterday but didn't pay much mind.

How utterly retarded you must be to go to another country and shit on it when at war...hope his death was Death by a Thousand Cocks while in prison. 🫡

Gimme those Pikachu reacts.

What's sad is that the guy was incredibly dismissive of the Russians invading before the war happened.
If only he'd gotten the fuck outta there when it was good instead of being arrogant.
IIRC, he's leaving behind a wife and two kids. I wish them well. 🙏

Wife and kids are better off without him. The cunt spread denialism about the massacres committed by Russian soldiers, pushed Russian propaganda endlessly, tried to doxx Ukrainian military positions, and became a poster boy for the worst political idiots in the US. It’s a fucking war, not a social media event. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

If RI ( Russian Intelligence ) is sorely lacking, I can't imagine what kind of AI they have. 😬

I mean, maybe the First Directive is 'Eliminate Nazis'...and as soon as the drone is up and about, he turns back and in a Skynet moment starts mowing Akhmats , VDVs and just your regular russian like they're gonna ban them tomorrow. 🤷🏻‍♂️
