After doing some digging, it's apparently an issue with the ISP and the CDN that's distributing the stream. They are throttling the shit out of Twitch. I tried that, but I liked the idea that it's more karaoke than polished, so I only tried to match where someone would start singing, not pitch or anything like that.

I only ever seem to do well when a tournament is on. Started with $330, got up to $400 by the end of the tourney, back down to $380 after a bunch of "oops I haven't watched the stream for forty hours straight so I didn't know [insert char here] was awesome." Starting to bring me down.

Yeah, that's part of why I've not watched too much over the past week (aside from being busy). I have a good connection and generally have no issues streaming 1080p content, but 480+ on this stream runs like ass for me, and even when 360p is up as an option it looks kinda like shit. I have no idea why there's not a regular 480p option, when that was available initially way back at the beginning it looked fine and ran fine. Everything else since then has been a compromise one way or the other for me.
