Okay OP should be good to go now, if anymore updates need to be made, shoot me a PM and I'll fix it up in the morning.

P.S. If a mod could change SNE in the thread title to SNEI that would be lovely!

Back in PS1 era networking on consoles was never a thing hence the company was called Sony Computer Entertainment. After 2 decades networking is more important than ever so the whole merger makes 100% sense to me..

Maybe because they wanna go back to the 90's where 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios would do their own video game division under the word "Interactive", like Fox Interactive and Universal Interactive Studios (otherwise known as Vivendi Games until 2007).

This is exactly what it reminds me of, lol

So does this mean Shu is no longer in charge of greenlighting first party or collaboration games and this responsibility now goes to Shawn? Aw man, I feel like the only reason we even got a game like Bloodborne was because Shu is so fond of From Software.

So does this mean there's no longer regional branches (i.e. SCEA, SCEE)? If so, I hope employees don't get laid off due to redundancies.

But head of SCEA now head of WWS, and head of SCEE now head of marketing!

All the names listed in OP, except John Kodera, were all Executives and Officers (CEO, CFO, COO). And the fact that Shu still has the same title, means that all the names listed in the OP are now CEO of the listed division. Shawn Layden will now be in command of World Wide Studios with Shu as second in command. And there could be new presidents for the regional divisions/branches, and they will report to both Shu and Shawn.

I always loved that "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents" at the beginning of all their titles though :(

It's style was so epic to me for some reason, and I don't think the new name will fit as well.
