Changes nothing and is still moronic and reckless. Always treat guns like they're loaded. ALWAYS. No matter how ultra, super 100% positive you are they're empty, and definitely don't fuckin' point them at people. That's how easily preventable accidents happen and is basic day one shit.

I was unerved enough when my college suitmate, who was hoping to be an officer, showed me his unloaded gun in his dorm room. He didn't have to point at me. The gun shouldn't have been there and that was enough.

I can't imagine having a gun pointed at you like this, regardless who is pointing it and regardless of how loaded it is or isn't. Hard to know that on the spot.

A lot of people are killed every year by guns hat they think or appear unloaded. That is why you don't point it at something unless you going to use it.

It's a fucking joke that Hannity isn't getting fired for this. If I was Williams I'd be suing him and Fox into the ground for creating a hostile work environment.

Also any pro-gun/2nd amendment types should be harshly decrying this kind of irresponsibility, but something tells me it'll be completely handwaved.

All guns are loaded. Until it is disassembled for cleaning assume it is loaded. Always.

Only point it at things you are prepared to shoot.


This might sound mildly hysterical but it is absolutely the most important aspect of owning or handling a firearm. And neither point is negotiable or has exceptions.

I'm a pro-gun/2nd amendment type and unfortunately I am just a nobody so my opinion won't change dick. But yes, you never fuck around with guns. They are not a toy, and you always consider them loaded. If Hannity did pull a gun out and point it at Williams, he deserves his ass beat for that. Loaded or unloaded makes zero difference in that case. You never fuck around with a gun.

It's by design. Lighter trigger pull weight causes less shift in aim. Which is great, up until some asshat with shit trigger discipline puts a hole in the roof of the range.


As for Hannity:

Of course Williams corroborated, and this isn't on any conspiracy theory shit but I'm pretty sure he enjoys being employed and wants to keep his job.

Yeah Juan is just doing his job. He's been the goto black liberal on Fox for years and I genuinely believe he is trying to reach people and make a difference on the channel but he's serving the same role as Colmes (rip) and if he was getting through to fox viewers in any meaningful way, they'd stop having him on air.
