Huge sigh of relief now that they're actually shooting.

Watched QOS last night with particular interest towards Quantum's decentralized structure (as poster at top of page said).

Never looked at it that way before, but you're right..it makes for one hell of a shadowy threat.

My brain knows that is makeup but eyes are still wanting to go "holy crap".

I'm wondering what the implications of unshaven Bond are.....maybe he's held prisoner for a little bit?

Maybe he goes on the run for a bit after MI6 is attacked and M discredited.

Could show the passage of time..maybe a month or two without stable living conditions?

It can't be 'a disguise' because it's not long enough..and if he's a prisoner..the beard only looks like it's been growing out for a couple weeks max.

One of the names often mentioned as a late addition to the cast of Skyfall, the twenty-third James Bond movie, is Helen McRory. When EON Productions held a press conference last week to announce the title of the film and the beginning of the shoot, McRory’s name was not mentioned.

Today, however, the official Bond Twitter account has confirmed that McRory will have a part in the movie. Along with her comes the announcement that Ola Rapace, the ex-husband of actress Noomi Rapace, will also be in the movie. We don’t know anything about the role that either actor will play at this point. This will, I believe, be the first major feature role for Ola Rapace in an English language film.

Solo :( he got banned for saying "make me a sammich!" or something similar in a thread about a woman complaining men are too sexist or something along those lines

Man, what a dumb way to go.

I doubt it. You can't just perma somebody for a comment like that. I've been banned for a sexist joke like that by Dragona and even then it was only for a couple weeks.

Just wave to Solo for now, folks. You know he's watching.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww

If I was... whoever sorts this shit out, I'd be headhunting Alex Turner and Miles Kane right now and throwing as much money at them as it takes for them to reunite Shadow Puppets for one more track. At the least, another '....um, OK, that's pretty weird but cool' pairing like White/Keys again would be nice.

Just not Gallagher. And not fucking Adele.
Adele is a great singer but no.....just no, keep her away from JB please.

I really hope its only for one very quick scene and nothing silly.

He could be in half the movie and be absolutely fantastic. It's all in the writing. I don't like dismissing Q or Moneypenny simply because their scenes turned into shitty monotonous necessities in every Bond film. Good writing can fix those characters and they can still be active elements of the Bond franchise.

Well-written snappy Q can be great. Both Q and Moneypenny suffered from the actors in the roles getting old, IMHO, and the script's need to "top" themselves with each appearance.

I don't think Q would be able to top the magic smart phone from QoS anyway.

I agree though, Q is great but I like my Bond one that doesn't absolutely require gadgets to succeed and I have a feeling Craig's Bond will reflect that. I'm a fan of how John Glen's Bond movies handled Q by not making Gadgets as integral to success as they were in Moore's previous movies but Q himself being a bigger part in missions to make up for it.

They should just drop the pretenses and get Howard Stringer to play Q:

007, we've developed these prototype glasses that will help you see an extra dimension while doing field work.

I like the idea of a goofy, older comedic Q if they can keep it fresh in each film.

Also, I hope to god that Craig looks like he's actually having a bit of fun in this film. Bond can be tough as nails, an asshole at times, but there is a part of him that enjoys it.

I think Bond is missing a bit of the fun it had Pre-Royale.

Not as much in QoS (though it is there), but there's plenty of Bond enjoying himself in Casino Royale.

Yeah, I think they lost a lot of it in QoS and I'm kind of worried which Bond will show up. Now that the Vesper storyline has run its course I think we will see him enjoying himself a bit more. Even in Royale, he wasn't the Bond I really wanted him to be. Still, considering the story, I understand where they had to take the character emotionally.
