Can we all just wait for the reviews to be released before we prematurely all have meltdowns? I mean Jesus Christ, the game hasn't even been reviewed yet, and we're all already engaging in accusing reviewers/crying bias/indulging in damage control?

Jeez, let the fucking reviews go online first. I am sure the reviews will be all round positive and glowing. I personally see a 98 Metascore incoming. But if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It will not affect my enjoyment of this game one bit, nor should it affect YOUR enjoyment of the game.

The funny thing is that a bunch of Zelda nerds are eagerly awaiting reviews of people who to the most probably aren't Zelda nerds. Regardless of what they say, a majority of the Zelda fans in this thread will probably pay attention to completely other things in the game than the reviewers.

I'm waiting for, "Ultimately Zelda SS just does not stand up to it's HD competitor Skyrim, which released a week before. Should they have launched the game at a different time on a more capable system, maybe it would've fared better." Someone is going to do it, I just don't know who.

Yes. Superior level design, superior mechanics, no glitches and bugs, and a level of finish and finesse that literally no other games display?
Zelda will beat Skyrim, that was never in doubt. The question is, by how much?

They have Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Ballad of the Goddess, Gerudo Valley, Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley, Zelda Overworld Theme and Kakariko Village.

Actually, I think that Zelda will have a harder time and get more technical complaints than Mario due to the 'epic nature' of the series.
 
can't believe the reviews skyrim gets, i honestly thought it would be the flop of the season, it looked terrible in screenshots and videos. now i must play it too damn.

As long as nothing in the game feels held back or compromised- and Nintendo are masters at ensuring that their games never feel gimped- there won't be any such complaints.
However, if reviewers choose to engage in counterfactuals, such as 'how much better would this game have been with the power of an HD console?' then I have nothing to say to them honestly. Don't review the game for what it could have been, review it for what it IS.
