Honestly, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Nintendo discounting all votes from a given IP address if too many votes are made from a single one. Probably more than one would be acceptable, since you might have siblings sharing a computer, but it isn't too hard to imagine that if you keep spamming votes from the same IP address that Nintendo will just start disregarding them after a certain point, or just disregarding all from that address. Of course, that still won't help if someone wants to go through the trouble of changing their IP address and using another one

I'd also imagine Nintendo will throw out suggestions if they see a ton of ones that are identical in all ways (especially the "reason they should be in smash).I feel like it isn't that likely that different people would write down the exact same reason down to the letter when voting for a character (unless they're just doing super half assed reasons, but those might be ignored as well)
Even Matt's given up on the Baz; he told people on the Facebook page to not even bother with Zubaz and just vote Wonder Red.
Same here. He's a brick of flesh that doesn't fight. It's Nintendo's fault that Meat boy was never on the Wii, but they act all high and mighty, like they'd be doing Nintendo a favor if they put him in Smash.

Her move set should be based on every type of mario spin off. Party, sports, karting, dancing . Everything make her the mario spin off character
Realistically, I don't see why it would be. Everyone in Smash Bros. is based on their mainline incarnation. A hypothetical Smash Bros. Daisy would probably be a Peach semi-clone.

no her moveset would be based off of mario party 3 where she can only move as according the roll of the dice and her final smash would be pitting everyone into a game of chance time which everyone would hate except for me because I thought the music from the first game was rad

I see. Good to know. Still my excitement isn't dampened because I don't remember those being there after the games released. Anyone know for sure? Because different browsers or not I remember as characters were revealed they would fill up the empty spaces. As more came in the spaces would decrease and just before they would completely fill up more would be added. By the time the game released and the hidden characters were gone I swear those boxes were gone.
I guess it doesn't mean we'll get a guaranteed 4 more after Lucas but just seeing them there gets me excited. In just a couple months we could have Lucas, Wolf and someone brand new filling in the spaces.

I must say, Smash is the only fanbase I know of that does shit like "here are the Japanese polls I have taken from Japanese people even though it's only from 2ch and with biased sources". You don't see, like say, Marvel fans doing that or something. Like there's some need to have their stand vindicated or something.

Just go outside GAF and visit other forums. The cult of Rool looks suspiciously scary to Ridley, from vocal minorities to shitposting, to a pompous belief or anything. Maybe it hasn't happened here because it is controlled by mods, but who knows?
Try GameFAQs which is sorta like Smash Boards mini. But yeah, it is scary.

No lie, he was legit considered for Smash 64 because of Goldeneye's popularity.
Demonizing fans of characters you don't like is nothing new. It's one thing if you don't like the characters and/or think they have no chance, but hating on fanbases is something best saved for the bowels of /v/ in an open ended contest like this. The more popular the character is, the more antagonized the fans will be as a result, as they are now the competition.
Ridley's fanbase is the reason why the character had to get constantly addressed by Sakurai despite not making it in. If a character that was less problematic or controversial had such a fanbase going into Smash 4, there's little doubt in my mind they'd be in now, much less in the context of this new Smash Ballot.

If Sakurai just said he was making Ridley a stage hazard we could have had an angry outburst and quickly got over it yet he decided to build up the tension for over a year just to grind the gears of Metroid fans. And if it wasn't the plan to do so it sure felt like it to me.
