So who's still looking foward to Killer 7 after RE4? (56k warning)

This may be the last game done by Production studio 4 under the supervision of Shinji Mikami. And although Mikami is merely producing and not directing Killer 7 like he did with the amazing RE4, Gouichi Suda is a very stylistic director who should bring a nice flavor to it. Now lets bask in some Screenshots as I ask who is still interested in this title?

Is that a regenerator I see? :lol

Hmm. That map interface looks amazingly familiar....

Ahhh, nice to see Leon passed along some of his flame grenades to the K7 crew.

So waddaya think? Will you take a chance and give what will probably be Mikami's last PS4 game a go or will you end it on a high note with the game already in your Cube right now? Personally I can't wait for some more uber violent action PS4 style.

So even if the reviews are great you won't give it a chance?

Tsk Tsk we should support games like this because Suda is taking a big chance releasing a game as unique as this.

I don't know, it seems like a strange game. I'm going to have to rent this one before I decide to purchase.

It will be hard to look forward to another game than RE4 right now. I FINALLY after some trouble got my copy of RE4 today. 5 hours in I am blown away with it. I love the weapon
upgrade system

I hear ya renting is a good idea but I have to have this game in my collection just from the visual style alone.

Plus after the Killer 7 gun making a cameo in one of my favorite games this gen I have to play with the original model.

I'll probably rent it. I pretty much lost interest in buying it because it's around 2 months away from being released and there still haven't been any gamepaly impressions. That just doesn't seem right.

I'm still curious simply because I love the visual style but I have to say that what I've read about the gameplay doesn't sound too hot. It'll be interesting to see what the various reviews have to say about the game.

Welcome to the RE4 Matrix SantaCruZer. Wipe your feet and get comfortable cause you'll be here a Looooonnng time before you wanna leave. I figure Mikami isn't going to let this game suck no matter what. The onscreen violence looks almost worse than what was in RE4.

#1 Killer 7 fanboy right here. Mostly to piss off all the haters. Game's gonna rock, bitches!*

*and/or not limited to gameplay, story, or graphics :P

Really? I thought the gameplay videos I saw looked pretty good and polished. It looks like nonstop action running from grid to grid getting in multiple confrontations along the way using a Virtual Cop/RE4 hybrid style combat system. Or maybe I'm just easily impressed by stuff like this.

I think most are letting it slip under the radar so they're not dissapointed by the final product. A smart move i'd say, but the latest trailer looked fucking rediculous (in a good sense), and i will pick this up just for the crazy story that it's sure to have.

I've been saying for about a year now on here I just dont care any more. It's taking too long to come out and has no legacy to fall back on. Maybe once it's done and reviews come in I'll be intrigued, but now it gets a giant 'meh' from me -- and I was a big proponent of it when it was first announced.

Hmm. So noone feels that the greatness of RE4 will relate somewhat to Killer 7's quality? I too was all but K7'nd out once it got delayed for the upteenth time and didn't care wether it came out or not anymore but after playing RE4 I still have some hope for it. I guess we'll see when the Famitsu scores come out.

I'm still looking forward to it

I wish it would come out allready seems like the games been in dev for ever

I have no idea if its going to be good or if its going to suck but it sounds interesting and deffiently worth a try

I don't see any connection. Just because Mikami is involved it's not automatically the same quality. P.N.03 is pretty much crap for example and this game is probably going to end like the next entry in Capcom's stylish suck action series.

Many people would disagree with you that P.N.03 was "crap" but thats another discussion. Besides that game was a budget title with a very limited development period unlike the rest of Mikamis games.

From what I can gather gameplay is fairly simplistic and the various aspects (of the gameplay) don't seem particularly well integrated. Obviously we knew from the beginning that the game had a good chance of being a graphical novel of sorts but I personally had some hope that it would be a more traditional adventure/action game with an untraditional presentation.

The story is what has intrigued me the most, seeing as how the interactions between the different personalities are endless.
