Sons of Anarchy - Season 5 - Tuesdays on FX

You know you're watching sons of anarchy when masturbating is a common thread in an episode and also when the lines "are we seeing each other?" "I see you gemma" exist.

I agree with the review, why the hell was Tara touching herself with the perfume on, lol. I feel like it was supposed to be a DEEP scene but it made no sense. If she did it without the perfume it would make sense, jax left her with some blue balls. But with it, it's just nonsensical.

Juice and Nero are going to die, aren't they ? Juice for being a rat (I don't know, maybe not) and Nero for being stupid enough to stick with Gemma.

I have a feeling Jax more than expects Gemma to be conflicted between her actual relationship with Nero and her mission with Clay. Not sure how it's going to turn out, but Jax definitely knows what's up. He knows Nero and Gemma dig each other.

But I hate the idea of Nero dying in all this. He's a genuinely kind, caring, honest man, as far as I can tell.

I saw it as Tara fantasizing about the bond between Otto and Luanne, in the sense that she envisions this kind of future with Jax. She and Jax have a relatively young relationship in the grand scheme of things, so as I saw it, she was romanticizing the "undying" passion/love/lust Otto has maintained for decades, even after everything the two have been through as a couple (such as prison, porn, Bobby, etc).

Nero signed his own death warrant as soon as he said "Please don't let that ever be me" while looking at mausoleum's vase (aka Carla's final resting place). I let out a Vader-sized "NNOOOOOOOO!!!" as soon as he uttered those words. The scene was too perfect to not be foreshadowing his own death before the end of this season. :(

Why didn't Eli try to explain to Jax why Juice had no choice but to rat on the club? Is his heritage necessarily a death sentence when someone like Jax is at the head of the table?

Yup. After Opie and those two the only likeable character left is Chibbs. :(

Juice is definitely going to end up being Jax's spy. Just as Jax is about to kill him he'll blurt out something about what Frankie told him.

I'm hoping Jax decides to use Juice to get information out of Clay and not kill him
This is how I see it turning out. Since Juice has info on Clay I think he'll use that as some sort of bargaining chip.

I'm glad the show runs a little over an hour instead of sticking to a hard time limit and have to end up cutting something just to fit the time slot. 90 minute episode next week too? Woo!

Jax is not one to go and kill someone within definitive proof; he'll speak with Juice first.
I can see Juice being the downfall of Clay actually. Why else have that scene where Juice confessed to Clay and vice versa?

Seriously, if Clay is still pulling this crap next season, or in season 7, I might go insane.

Please, Sutter, recognize these two things:

a) Clay's villainy has more or less run its course, and the entire club should hate him and want him dead at this point.
b) Gemma's stupidity and selfishness have run its course, and she needs to be marginalized. Katie got the Golden Globe. The Emmys are probably never going to give SoA any respect, so we don't need Gemma involved with every storyline.

My only concern with Juice having info on Clay is that from a practical standpoint it's hearsay. There's still no definitive proof against Clay, and Frankie was the closest thing.

Time for Juice and Clay to meet Mr. Mayhem.

That plot point never made a lick of sense in the first place. That came out of nowhere, and clashed pretty hard with previous storylines.

Random question: Bobby isn't first 9? I always thought he was but in the scene with Clay, I noticed he doesn't have the patch...

Neh, I think Clay is the last one? I think it was Clay, Piney, JT, and I think a guy from Ireland. Not sure about the rest.

Edit:Looks like it was JT, Clay, Piney, McGee(in Belfast, dead), Lenny "The Pimp"(In Jail), Wally (dead), Uncle Tom(dead), Chico(dead), Lil Killer(dead). So Clay is the last one alive outside of jail, not sure the last time we saw Lenny the pimp.

I want to hear Jax ask Clay, "Fire or knife?"

God I want to hear that. Strip him of the patch first, then put him down like the dog he is.

How I feel about Clay now.

"OK, kill him."

So Jax is just making every stupid decision he can this season. It seems they completely flipped the personalities of Jax/Clay and Gemma/Tara from last season to this season.
