I know Jax promised TO but that fucker had to die. No way he could let him live after watching him cave in opie's head. Fuck 20 years of friend ship. Retribution mother fuckers!!!

I love watching Jax turn into a monster, what is wrong with me.

Really felt bad for TO though he is such a nice guy lol, sucks that dude was his cuz : (

Also no way Jax hands over Tig to Pope, no fucking way. I really would lose all love for him if he did, Jax is playing him ..... god I hope at least.

I'm worried about Jax now. Betraying that other club was huge. His group of allies is shrinking by the episode.

He might have some kind of victory in the finale, but I think it's going to be bittersweet. He's burning too many bridges along the way.

Yeah, killing the Lodi leader's cousin after he said he would let him live.

That was the moment of no return for Jax.

He literally fucked the entire club.

Tara explained why at the end of the episode. Do you guys not pay attention?

No, she didn't. Tara's exact wording was "Otto reversed his RICO statement."; after Jax asks why, she states "He killed a nurse... brutally. They'll have to throw out his testimony".

When he gave his testimony, he was already on death row. For killing someone while incarcerated. How does another murder affect his credibility? Is there some "kill a nurse in prison and any statements you've made/signed become inadmissible in court" law that I'm unaware of?

This is madness.

Madness? No.

This is anarchy.

Is there ANYONE who can still stand seeing Clay's face? Fucking Gorilla fuck. If he doesn't die by the end of this season I'm quitting this show.

Pretty boring episode for such a long one. I like watching Jax turn evil, it suits him. I am tired of Clay's "oh woah is me shit". He himself talks about the terrable shit he has done but he still gets Juice to feel sorry for him. At this point I kind of want Juice to die more than Clay.

I think it's along the same lines of Gemma wrecking her car from smoking weed after years and years of smoking weed. Not a good explanation but it's one they are going with. I'm guessing he can say it was a lie to quicken his death penalty and when it didn't happen he did this? Yeah, I don't know... I guess it could hurt his credability, but I don't know how much more it could hurt than him sticking a scalpal in a guys ear or all the other shit he's done.

Jax is really bad at this boss thing, as if he didn't already have enough enemies now he can add the Grim Bastards to the list. Way to go dumbass.

a disappointing episode (a trend this week with dexter also being disappointing), but some interesting stuff happened regardless.

the stabbing was brutal, but maybe it's just me but I don't believe tara will get into any trouble of it, or at least her career won't be over as a result of this.

jax is as said by others, a terrible leader. I foresee a lot of this gung-ho attitude coming back to bite him hard this season or next. the rest was dull mostly, don't like the juice storyline or the clay / gemma one. both need to be resolved as soon as humanly possible as they are really dragging down the show.

I think Tara would be completely stripped of her license. Using her medical license to smuggle contraband into a prison and being an accessory to murder? There is no chance she doesn't get in trouble, there's a reason the job offer came in the exact same episode.

that's why I thought she might not lose her license. I can see otto lying about where he got the necklace from and there weren't any cameras, so who is to say he didn't grab it from the nurse he stabbed to death?

it stretches the boundaries of plausibility, but I can see it happening. the opposite is also true though, maybe she will lose her license and she will be charged as a accessory to the murder. I hope this is the path is takes. it would destroy jax's hopes of living a clean life with his family if she's sent to jail.

Otto wouldn't lie. He did this specifically to hurt Jax/Tara/SAMCRO. He is recanting his statement but Redwood needed to bleed.

I don't think Tara will go to jail, I just think her life will be screwed from this point forward.

Edit: Was thinking about Jax bringing Clay to the table with his betrayals and I was wondering who would appose him at this point? He has Tig and Juice in his pocket and Bobby and Chibs are in on everything that has gone on. I know it has to be unanimous, but I can't see Hap(seemingly a ruthless psychopath) and Fat guy(pushover?) apposing the majority.

sons live, redwood bleeds. that makes sense now.

I hope if they do go down this path that she faces the full brunt of the law, having her just lose her license or not face the possibility of jail time would be a very flat ending to this.

I don't think so. Maybe not as impactful, but it's still leading her farther down a dark path. She was already screwed by her affiliation with the club(Jax mostly) when her hand broke and seemingly took away her career. Then she got a glimmer of hope with a possibility of a job in a nice place with the possibility of getting away from the club and that all goes away again because of the club. Pretty much her whole decision to come back to Charming(and conveniently everything that she did that was brought up in the job offer meeting) and getting involved with Jax/SAMCRO has completely screwed her life.

If there was ever a character(besides Juice I guess) on SOA that I could see commiting suicide(not actually thinking it will happen) it would be Tara with the path her character is going down.

I didn't think of it like that. good call, this would be an good way to resolve the current arc with her.

history repeating almost with jax and tara having no choice but to stay with the club and going on to become something like clay / gemma when the show first started.

The writing was on the wall at the end of episode 3. The anger in Jax's face told us that losing Opie meant losing a better part of himself.

The reason that Otto's credibility will be shot is that he just killed a random person after he agreed to the RICO case, he'll seem too unbalanced and eager to hurt anyone he can.

I'm guessing they'll find Tara's fingerprints on the crucifix. They might believe that she didn't think it would be used as a murder weapon but obviously she won't get another job offer and no chance of leaving Charming.

Honestly, I think Bobby will be killed off this season. Jax is probably planning to strike back at Pope but he's burning bridges at the same time. The only person who he doesn't have total loyalty or leverage on is Bobby so if Bobby dies, there'll be no one to question his motives.

It's also interesting that either Juice or Gemma will be screwed depending on who finds proof of Clay's sabotage first.

I think that's what Sutter is trying to portray, how anyone can look like a shitty leader when you have so much shit stacked against you.

She will just lose the Oregon job.

Tara has pretty thick hospital plot armor. I mean, aside from her hand healing, she is constantly being visited in the hospital by convicted felons, has an episode where she is screaming at Gemma in her office while the family she was counseling is sitting in an adjoining room with the door open, is married to the leader of a criminal organization, was the victim of an attempted kidnapping by a drug cartel, and no one is batting an eye. The hospital administrator clearly doesn't give a shit about anything Tara does after they were both kidnapped together (different kidnapping).

I'm not sure how to feel about Clay at this point. I still don't trust him at all, but I did like how he threw Romeo's plans back in his face and rejected the offer to become president again. I still think Clay has his own end game to get back the seat, but he's not going to do it while being a bitch for the cartel.

It seemed his opening up to Juice was sincere, but Clay's still a bastard at heart.

Clay, if you're reading, don't screw Jax over!

i do too, but this would have been useful before he became the leader.

also, why would he be playing Pope? Tig is the reason Opie is dead. His best friend. Tig also tried to kill his best friend before, and ends up killing his wife.

He doesn't give a shit about Tig anyway. Tig is Clay's boy and Jax has made it VERY clear he couldn't care less about old partnerships or anything that can be tied to Clay.

My prediction is that Sons of Anarchy will go Lion King (another Hamlet take) next season and Jax will go join the Nomads or another SoA branch while he gives the gavel to Chibs and, somehow next season, Clay gets the gavel from Chibs.

Jax goes hakuna mattata for a season with some fun episodes and new characters, discovers himself and tries to rediscover his morality, finds his dad's letters again, then returns to Charming to off Clay.

That's because she has that one woman protecting her. She knows the life....If they still remember that :lol. The hospital and that woman don't really have a say in her losing her license.

3 Hyenas. 3 Nomads.

Man, Charlie Hunnam has just been phenomenal this season. The transformation of his character is incredible

When he yelled at Bobby about the pleasure on the face of the guy who killed Opie, I felt his pain.

Jax is completely overwhelmed and in his head. He has too much going on, and it's going to crumble on him.

Romeo and Luis played Jax for a fool.

I reckon Tara is going to have criminal charges brought against her and Jax will be forced to go back to the Cartel to get them to get rid of the charges, tying him to them just as he though he was going to be able to get out with RICO gone.

Among other criticisms of the episode that have already been raised, am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous for a hospital to be offering a lucrative and competitive job to a surgeon recovering from a serious hand injury all because there's a good prognosis? Give me a break. You keep an eye on her as a candidate, sure, but you don't start tossing around offers before she even takes the soft cast off.

I thought it was positively retarded that Clay somehow pieced everything together and concluded that Romeo was CIA. Even dumber that Romeo basically shrugged and admitted it.

SOA is as pulp fiction as it gets. I'll take it for what it's worth; it's not a Sopranos or Breaking Bad with the intricate level of detail.

Finally saw the episode

Way to overkill Donal Logue's sis, Sutter :p

Can't wait for more fuck ups by Jax. My gut tells me that Clay knows that Gemma's playing him (not sure about Juice but you never know)

SOA is the ultimate "just go with it" show.

And I'm surprisingly okay with it. I'll never stoop to reality TV, but it's nice to have something that just kinda flows and I can turn my brain off, compared to stuff like Breaking Bad where I'm going nuts scrutinizing every little detail.

Yup, next week for the final three episodes. Minor spoiler:
he plays a violent ex-US Marshall.

heh, which makes me think that
yes, he might actually be the brother of the nurse character played by his twin sister. Violent Ex-Lawman in combo with Tara/SOA's involvement in her murder. Plausible.

My thinking exactly. Really can't see how else he would come about otherwise. I guess he could come from one of the other story lines but it would seem kind of odd.

I can't be the only one who has no empathy for any of the sons or their women.

Each one is either a nasty piece of work with no redeeming qualities, or a pathetic douche who gets played by the others.

The only one who I have any sympathy for is Juice, but he's an idiot, and maybe Chibs.

I hope this whole thing ends like a good Greek tragedy with everyone either dying or ending up in jail, including Tara (especially Tara).

Has there ever been a television "gang" who have been so out-thought, out-gunned and out-played as the sons of anarchy?

I think my biggest fuck you goes to Jax for being the biggest douche going in this or any other show for that matter. Hate him so much and he just makes really bad decisions, constantly.

The only reason I am watching at this point is to see them die one by one and to see if I get my wish at the end.
