Yea, the Sons are all violent criminals, but the allure of the show is the dynamic among the different characters. The morality is relative to the underworld in which the show takes place.

The next episode is co-written by out writers' assistant John Barcheski. To put in perspective how far he's come up the latter, he was an office PA on the show's pilot. Fucking awesome.

EDIT: and because I'm still fuming...

The most common way to get staffed is to move up from office PA -> writers' PA -> script coordinator/writers' assistant -> baby writer. That's how a good third of all TV writers, especially now, get staffed. So, no, someone at one point being an office PA has no bearing on their ability to one day be a TV writer, because most of your favorite shows were written by people who were once office/writers' PAs.

I'm happy for John. He's talented and he's worked hard and has earned this. Your comment wasn't nearly as witty as you thought it was.

Bold facing the fact that the freelancer used to be an office PA as proof positive in the show's perceived downturn in quality is both ignorant of how people in that position get promoted and generally shitty. So, yeah, totally called for.

Dude, seriously, not a thing that is going on in this show makes sense anymore. The only thing I can chalk it up to is that the writing staff are woefully bad. You just told me that a former office PA is now doing the writing and I put two and two together.

Being snide? Too fucking right I am. Just don't tell me I don't have any idea what talking about. I have watched this show from the start and I have watched it get worse and worse to the point that the latest episode has me literally laughing out loud.

Maybe if you and your coworkers listened to your audience more, the show wouldn't be such a clusterfuck.

I am ambivalent about the show and always have been. I'm not a fan. But to say that it's because a freelance episode was given to someone who used to be an office PA five seasons ago like almost every single baby writer on every TV show that exists is not only ignorant but, again, stupid.

Next time try to have a shred of competence in what you're talking about (which is not the quality of SOA but instead how writers' rooms operate) before you post.

So I just finished watching all 4 Seasons on Netflix. Checked On Demand on Xfinity and they only have Season 5 from Episode 7 and on. Anyone know where I can watch the first 6 episodes of Season 5 for free?

Just want to catch up on those 6, watch the rest On Demand, and then start following the new episodes when they air on Tuesdays.

I don't think they're available for free anywhere. Your best bet would be something like Amazon video or iTunes if either have SoA.
