That was some godawful scene continuity during the car scene. Jax rammed the barrier, fucking up his hood. The front bumper falls off completely as he's driving down the hill, and the flips fucked up the car's windows and overall body... CUT... and then they cut back to a car with some broken windows, but otherwise in near perfect shape. No fucked up hood, the bumper is back, etc.

What the fuck?

He's not trying to help out Clay, he's trying to protect the integrity of the club.

It's interesting. They talk about it in season with the idea of Anarchy, but it's really more about the rules that they want to live by, not necessarily the true idea of Anarchy. Hence the stupid rule of law they have. I've always found that one of the more interesting aspects of SAMCRO.

I get that part, but Jax really just needs to kill him already they are dragging this shit out to extremes. But it will be pretty awesome when it happens at least.

Bobby's a fucking idiot and needs to get off his high horse.

Clay is clearly a menace to the club, and if he's allowed to stick around shit will continue to hit the fan. The funny thing is that Bobby tells Jax to not let his hatred for Clay ruin what he's just done with the cartel/guns/drugs, yet the single largest threat to destroying all of that is Clay.

Fuck Bobby. His false sense of moral superiority is clouding his judgment.

tara's 'okay, baby' was depressing. the early signs of the clay / gemma cycle beginning anew?

has she ever said it before? I don't recall that she has, but maybe I'm wrong.

excellent, very hyped for next weeks episode.

as for this weeks episode. I wasn't particularly thrilled that tara appears to have kept the cleveland job offer, although maybe it's too early for them to pull it as no charges have been filed yet. saying that, it looks like she might face some blowback from the guy who demolished otto. wow.

clay is as devious as ever, he needs to get him comeuppance and soon. it needs to be brutal and crushing. he deserves nothing less. then there's nero. damn. can't wait to see how he changes the dynamic for the rest of this season and hopefully the next.

the rest of the episode was alright I guess, although I didn't see the point of it being another extended episode. not much really happened, but the exposition is probably going to be important in the final couple of episodes.

What happened with the club being banned from wearing their cuts in public? For a while they were always wearing hoodies instead, but now it seems like things are back to normal.

Also, I thought Opie had returned but no :(

it looked like him for a fraction of a second when he first appeared in front of the cell. my first thought was what the hell, but then it became apparent it was someone else because of the gut.

I hope he's in for more than the last couple of episodes, same with nero. both need to be developed well into the next season.

So what the hell was Jax's plan? He'd arrive at Clay's, remove the documents and then what? Clay'd go: "nah, I didn't put those there. I'm being set up. How'd YOU know they were there?"

Since the members of the club obviously don't care about Jax taking care of business in secret and/or pretty unilaterally, he should just shoot Clay and be done with it. Then give his little speech about what Clay's done and the members will say "yea" and slam that gavel.

Sons of Anarchy's action scenes are the worst. They're usually entirely perfunctory, just gotta throw some pointless action in to appease the audience. Doesn't seem like there's typically much effort in terms of... anything.

Gotta love how all those guys and guns barely even managed to nick one of the Sons. Meanwhile, the Sons are leaning out the windows of a spinning car and picking people off.

A bit of an off topic post but related to Sons of Anarchy. Did you see the Sons of Anarchy store? Jax's plaid shirt for almost $100? Gemma's leather jacket for $500? Tara's pants for $100+?

Seriously?
