Just started watching this show on Netflix, i know this isn't the EXACT thread to be in but i needed to spit this out somewhere : what a BULLSHIT idea and decision to kill Donna. Fuck these writers if dumb shit like that is gonna continue through out this show.. Hey maybe Half-Sack accidentally shoves a wrench through Abel's babyskull?! Let's off a mother of two kids BUT LET'S NOT off a 17 year old girl - 'cus she's just a kid?! And Jax not putting 1 and 1 together, seeing Tib's would easily kill that witness and saying that he's a bad man and yelling at him "we do NOT kill women!" - HEY JAX IT'S TIB'S WHO KILLED DONNA DONT YOU SEE?!

My nerves... This yelling-at-the-screen bullshit, like in a fucking Scream movie or whatever, like "DONT GO IN THERE FFS, he's in there!!".

Killing Donna was one of the best things the show ever did, honestly. I liked Donna, but it was a great engine for the series going forward and for Opie's story.

Why? Because that was the laziest thing to do to make Jax stir shit up in the club? That would've happened anyways if you look at the progression of alot of other shit going on And wrong in the club.

And fuck that bimbo from "Joey". Why the fuck is that talentle... Uh, i'm angry :(

It's an act that has led to all kinds of consequences even in the most recent season of the show, not a lazy, disposable "shocking" event.

I'd recommend you keep watching instead of making snap judgments of arcs you haven't seen yet.

lol @ people who think killing Donna meant anything. When Opie found out the truth he became the living "Okay" meme.

Donna's death is one of the most powerful, significant moments of the show.

However, if waypoetic is that angry now about such an event, he/she is going to have a brain aneurysm by season 5's end.

So much crap has gone down since that the characters and audience have become desensitized to it. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not.

Seriously man. :( I have nothing to watch on Tuesdays anymore. I might as well just jump on Netflix but sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the choices and end up not watching anything anyway.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is New Girl. That's my only other Tuesday show. I recommend it if you're looking for a goofy, lighthearted comedy with endearing characters.

it's all about family but these are actually good people!
(plus its the spawn of Friday Night Lights except there is no football)

My wife and I finally caught up with the show. I can honestly say it's my favorite show on TV (including Breaking Bad). I find myself yelling at the TV a few times (mostly at Gemma) but cannot wait for the new season.

I feel like it might be intentional. I don't think S1 Jax would be okay with Tig
killing the warden's wife as "collateral"/stress relief
(which I thought was a fairly "shocking" moment).

He sure did.

I wonder how Tara was pressed with charges. Has to be something other than Otto's testimony.

My buddy and I are guessing that when Gemma went in to testify against Clay, she also slipped in something to go against Tara. Maybe that Tara came to her place for the cross cuz she wanted to help Otto, something like that.

Can't help being frustrated by some of the twists and turns season 5 took. I didn't know Sutter was "Otto" and that Katey was his wife. I guess they had some personal marriage issues at home or something, that's why "Gemma" is up for yet another round - seeing her putting her arm around Jax, just like she did with JT and how Tara did the same.

This show has gone to shit.

- Donal Logue Returns To ‘Sons Of Anarchy’
We will see more of former U.S. Marshall Lee Toric on FX‘s Sons Of Anarchy. Donal Logue, who introduced the character in the last three episodes of SOA‘s fifth season, will be back in Season 6 for a major arc, reprising the character of Toric, forced into retirement because of his history of violence. Logue and SOA creator Kurt Sutter had talked for years about Logue guesting on the show before the timing finally worked, so it makes sense for Sutter to keep the actor around for a little longer.
