Sons of Anarchy - The 7th and Final Season - Tuesdays on FX

So I missed the last three episodes. Can someone recap it for me? I don't think it's probably worth me blowing 3 and a half hours on catching up since the general consensus in this thread is that nothing has happened.

85 minutes of nothing and 5 minutes of something

5 minutes of Abel looking like he is going to murder family, RIDIN' THROUGH THIS WORRRLD, 15 minutes of Uncer talking to someone and putting things together slowly enough to eventually figure out who killed Tara in the second half of the final episode, 10 minutes of Bobby chuckling like Santa on Death Row, 20 minutes of Jax and Friends going off to do a GTA Side Mission, 15 minutes of Katey Sagal monologuing for auditions next year, 5 minutes of Juice putting on more plot armor, 20 minute Katey Sagal cover of Over The Rainbow while the club stands around a bonfire and the camera keeps circling them.

dave is ok

aztek is ok
The worst part of the show is the blind loyalty everyone shows the club and Jax

Tig killed Donna? He can stay for the the good of the club. Clay killed Piney? Oh well, he can stay for the good of the club. Opie shot Clay? They both can stay for the good of the club.

The most fitting ending would be Jax finding out that Clay and Gemma killed his dad and and Gemma killed his wife and not giving a shit.

This has made my day. I'm dying here lol

Well I know who isn't dying. Juice or Gemma :p

Wouldn't be it amazing if Gemma just randomly died? Like she has a heart attack or is killed during a random street mugging.

Jax is told by Abel during the finale that Gemma is the one that killed Tara before clubs him in the head with a hammer and takes the presidency of SamCro.

Another 90 minute episode for Sutter to spin his wheels and not have the plot progress until the last 5 minutes?

Stop posting spoilers man.

I'm not sure what's worse: this show or the fact that they make you wait through 5+ minutes of commercials just to see the preview for next week lol.

For SAMCRO to be a crimnial outfit, they sure call the cops on people often. Isn't that one of the basic rules.

Also that sex scene was too much, even the biker watching was like wtf. And by too much, I mean stupid.

I knew Bobby was gone. Sutter was trying way too hard to make him look like a badass on the way out. Way too much of that horrid kid actor and Katey Sagal. Bobby died and Marks is arrested, but it still feels like nothing happened to inch closer to the end game. There are only 4 episodes left.

So, uh, what was the idea behind Jax suggesting that his and Marks' crews leave during the trade? Like, uh, they were going to have to come back at some point... that was utterly pointless, except as a brilliant ploy to let Marks pull something. I called Marks having a gun on Bobby the second that sequence started. Stupid.

LOL @ the Chinese guy getting a DUI in a different state the night of Tara's murder.

The amount of sheer nonsensical scenes per episode is reaching critical mass. The Gemma/sheriff fight? Car park boning? But the best one had to be the "You're tracking mud in!" scene from Wendy just so the world's most unconvincing psycho child can creep on Gemma more. The way she delivered the line and everyone immediately walked out was like an adventure game cut scene when everyone leaves so you can sneak around the room.

So Jax suggests the one thing (everyone but him and Marks leave the area), which is the exact thing that allows Marks' plan to be able to work at all? When Jax is on his motorcycle and needs to drive a seriously injured Bobby away? Ok, writing team.

At least have Marks suggest it, but that means viewers will know it's a trap (and therefore Jax should too). If this is your problem, the solution is to start over because your scene is nonsensical garbage.

As if the sheriff would fuck a criminal out in public where people had their fucking car parked. All the GTA side quests are getting dumber and dumber.

I must admit the cat fight in Jarry's office did make me laugh. So long, Bobby

This had me dying. When Gemma shoved the sheriff over her desk, I busted out laughing and replayed it. She fell so fast and hard, like a damn ragdoll. I was expecting to come in here and see a gif of it. I am disappointed. Can someome gif that please!?

I don't know why I never really noticed until recently, but Katy Sagal has a really big head. Really big.

Dude how did you not notice this 7 years ago?

I'm glad other people noticed this too. In the gif it doesn't look quite as weird but watching it last night it looked absurd.

At least this episode had something happen besides filler..can this show just end already? I don't think I've rolled my eyes more than ever watching anything then this last episode, everyone is so stupid, and I wasn't even shocked that Bobby was killed.

I decided to get a decent night's sleep instead of watching the show live. I feel like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

I'll skim through it tonight, at least to see Bobby go.

Such a shame that the show has fallen off, a major character goes out and I don't even care

Still rooting for Unser to bring down the sham (and live)

Holy shit, there's been 9 episodes, and Jax doesn't seem any closer to finding out the truth about Tara.

Lin is still alive, and now August is being put in prison similar to Lin, and I wouldn't be surprised at this point, if the one guy and his mom end up being murdered for going along with Jax's plan.

The one somewhat nice thing this latest episode had was someone calling Jax out on his "you have to trust me" bullshit.

Edit: As for Bobby's death its hard to even care, seeing as how he went from being a voice of reason, an anchor to Jax, and became just another blind idiot follower of Jax. Another poster here said it best, he went from being a character to being just another body with a gun.

Basically, I knew it would happen and it wasn't like a queasy feeling in the gut with Opie, but more like, ok, I guess Bobby is dead now. Four more episodes left? Cool.

I just watched the latest episode an hour ago since I fell asleep halfway through last night.. I don't know whose more stupid, Jax with his disastrous leadership, or the club members for not really questioning him. I wonder if Gemma has what it takes to murder her own grandchild given how snoopy Abel has been lately. The body count continues to pile up. It's been kind of annoying how long they've played out Juice's role in trying to get to Lin. Obvious prediction: That black family Jax is trying to help are going to get killed in the next episode.

Oh, Bobby. I forgot about you. RIP.
