Catching up now. Such awful writing.

Why is Sutter trying so hard to convince us that Jax is really a nice guy with a good heart?

The guy is a sadistic murderer and he tortures people for no reason. He cheated on his wife with a hooker and then within a few weeks of his wife being murdered, he's hooking up with a street whore who works for him.

Jax is a lowlife piece of shit and any sympathy that anyone had for him should be long gone.

I'm convinced that Sutter truly believes that everyone still loves Jax, just like the people of Charming do...

I liked scenes with Jax and his new girl and Tig/Venus scenes. Abel revealing that Gemma killed Tara was good too.
But i laughed at that sex montage, i mean really? And than scene with Abel looking in the mirror, goddamn, that was funny.

The cheating stuff is nothing new. They brought this up more in the early seasons of the show, but pretty much all of the Sons in relationships cheat on the old ladies. It's part of the culture.

Wow that opening montage was way overboard. I shouldn't be surprised though. Before this episode starts lets see how the sons fuck..... Or get fucked(sup juicy j) .


I'm ready for it to end and I will accept all the crazy along the way. No sense in complaining when I know I am going to watch it til the very end.

My girlfriend cried when they killed his wife and he was sitting there crying. I remember asking her why the fuck would anyone cry for him, the dude deserves everything and more he's gotten to this point imo. It's difficult to empathize with a guy who has so few redeemable qualities, at least with Breaking Bad I can understand why people were so enamored with Walter White despite being a complete villain. Jax? Naw, dude gets no pass from me.

It seems like Ron Tully requested Jax to allow him to rape Juice as one of the future favors Tully said Jax would owe him. It's part of Juice's punishment for betraying the club.


Anyway, the whole Venus scene with Tig was hilarious to watch unfold.

Didn't he ask that after the fact? And why would Juice let it happen? He didn't need to. He could've told the dude to fuck off. The deal to kill facilitate Lin's murder was already in place. I can't imagine why he would do something like that. Sutter is just being gross.

Felt the same. Seems like Sutter just enjoys prison rape scenes even when they don't make sense.

Sutter thinks Jax and Gemma are amazing (notice how characters keep being drawn to both of them, but the writers never actually show the audience why they're magnetic, they just keep telling us they are) and probably only has it in him to kill one off.

My money is on a showdown with Jax/Gemma/Nero. Nero and Jax end up killing each other as Nero tries to protect Gemma. Wendy ends up with the kids and Gemma gets the "has to live with herself" ending.

Last shot is Gemma putting on the Cut, getting on a motorcycle (first time we'll have seen her ride one - Sutter-teir subtlety in symbolism) and riding off into the sunset.

Fade to black.

I think so too.

There was a fun theory a while back about how Rat was a government agent undercover. I thought it would be cool if he was, even if Sutter would never be smart or subtle enough to have a legitimate shock/twist like that.

Maybe I dont remember correctly, but I thought he was portrayed as being kinda dumb in the beginning. The most obvious of this being when he drugged the junkyard dog with speed rather than something that would knock it out.

Does anyone remember how and why Jax managed to excuse Tig from murdering his best friend's wife?

Also, Tig was the closest confidante of Clay and had a massive part in all of his schemes. How is he still a patched member?

So watched all 7 seasons in the past few weeks to catch up to this thread before the finale.

Season 1 goat. then gets worse, then gets better, then gets terrible. Loved season 3 and 4 though, minus the predictable antagonists.

Season 7 has been disappointing. Days of Our SAMCRO. kinda terrible. Gemma the Worst. liked this last one, creepy Abel aside. Just call Thomas Cain already.

It's all super convoluted. At the time of the club finding out about tig/clay/donna the attention and blame was conveniently shifted onto agent stahl for planting the wire. As the club deteriorated and leadership slipped from Clay, there was like 3 different plots why Clay had to stay in the club/not be killed. Of course this meant he needed tig too, so Jax instead openly resented him and kept him in the dark a lot.

This led to the opie/Clay shooting lie and tig killing Pope's daughter. Jax now hates tig even more and openly blames him for Opie's murder, telling him from now on he follows Jax's lead without question (getting him to do the nasty jobs like kill the prison guard's innocent wife) and making him betray Clay. Jax hands him over to Pope and tig notes how shaky the rescue plan was afterwards. Jax hands him over again to Marks for real but he was just testing Jax. Tig asks Jax why Marks' men ended up at the place he was told to wait. Jax makes up some excuse but it's clear he doesn't believe him.

Wouldn't be surprised if this leads to Tig being the rat. He's probably pissed he's been kept at the fringe of the club for so long rather than being properly punished or made to leave - even after following Jax's lead and doing heinous shit.

It's funny, that's another shitty thing with Jax's character and why he's also a shitty gangster - he lets other gangs punish his patched-in members. Gangs are usually adamant if a member needs to be punished/killed, they do it themselves. Yet Jax happily let's Juice get raped or Tig killed by outsiders.

Rat might be an ATF agent, and his girlfriend could possibly be an information to get back at the Sons. I don't know. They're the only ones I could think of.

It's true. Watching all of the series in such a short amount of time it was obvious how people go against their own established character at the drop of a hat. Clay, Jax, Tara have all flip flopped as characters and do the most inexplicable things, essentially just whatever would cause the most drama.

I actually really liked this last episode though, and hope it closes out well. I expect a few dumb turns, but hopefully nothing else completely ridiculous.

And yeah, it has to be Rat. Anyone else would make no sense, and even he is a stretch. So it could still be anyone I guess.
