Sons of Anarchy - The 7th and Final Season - Tuesdays on FX

Even the kid seems pissed off with Gemma and her shit.

As for the rest of the episode. Eh. I've decided to just not care any more. I'll watch the season out, but after UtD, I've decided it's better for my sanity not to care too much about the show and how it all ends.

I'm even expecting Gemma to make it out alive. Sutter doesn't have the balls to kill her. I do expect some kind of showdown between Nero and Jax as Jax tries to have it out with Gemma.

I will say that it's sad to see Chibbs be so aggressive and indifferent towards Juice. Seemed so out of character, but then this season is all about everyone acting out of character...apart from Gemma and Unser, who is still alive somehow.

Is it even Unser at this point? Maybe his cancer became sentient and is controlling him like a parasite?

Also have to add to the chorus complaining about the unnecessary increase in racist language. Another thing that's come completely out of nowhere. Is it supposed to be some form of social commentary or Sutter simply being a complete dick?

And holy shit at the special effects during the shoot-out. Oh my god.

SAMCRO has such a magical intelligence network and uncanny ability to puppet other crews, that it's laughably stupid when they're fumbling around in the dark regarding the identities of those two punks they used as patsies.

Yeah exactly. Also, consider the fact that in season 1 Juice was their techie ( incidentally, Juice is never seen operation or speaking about computers again ) who exactly is the genius in this crew? Tig? Happy?

Anyways, episode was meh. Bobby is now ok with cold blooded murder of those 2 guys, and is the 1st one to pull a trigger..where did this Bobby come from? Maybe they gave him an attitude adjustment off-screen.

I guess the episode was okay. I can't really say I care all that much about SOA. It really should have packed it up after season 5.

Jesus christ, I was eating lunch when I watched this and it still almost put me to sleep. Who knew so much mayhem could be so damn boring?

It's going to be a long slog to get through these final ten episodes unless things that are actually interesting start happening.

It's another thing that comes and goes whenever Sutter wants. I'm sure he thinks he's making a statement in some way, but he's not.

Remember when Juice spent a season believing the club would murder him if they learned he had a black father? And how that seemed out of nowhere when the club had spent a couple seasons bashing white supremacists? There's just not a whole lot of consistency, or continuity, within this universe. The plot whims of the writers dictate how the characters act.

Yeah, that explains why Jax is mad... But why is Chibbs so furious that he was about to murder Juice in the middle of a fucking cop diner? None of this feels believable...

Sutter's really been ramping up the race element this season, to the point where it's bothering me. Previously, I just accepted it because, okay, being kinda racist is part of their thing and these are not good or nice men so I guess I'll allow it... But now everyone's throwing around black, brown and yellow or worse. Even Unser said "that's on black" or whatever when talking to the sheriff and Sutter even had Chibbs call the asian guy a monkey repeatedly. Leave Chibbs alone!
Chibs sees Juice like a little brother. Clay had an affinity for him too.

I know I'm not the first person to point this out, but it is odd to see Bobby is perfectly okay with killing innocent people like its no big deal, when in season 5 Bobby voted against Clay meeting mr. mayhem because he didn't want Jax to turn into Clay, and then when Jax had Pope killed using Clay's gun, Bobby was disappointed in him.

It's a total contradiction on Bobby's part. I had hoped he would have spoken out against Jax when he got out of prison, rustled up his guys, and left to actually form his own charter.

Show is just trashy now. Nero's gone the way of Bobby, he was in on that slaughter of the black gangbangers at the end.
(and someone mentioned earlier, why are these bangers so stupid as to trust Jax and the Sons? How many people have they double crossed the last year of the show's timeline?)
Everyone on the show is scum.
And dear lord Im at the point where I cant listen to any Gemma monologues or any scene involving intimacy between her and Nero. Sorry, its getting muted. Cannot stand that character and dont care about her inner strife and turmoil.
It's not even simply about everyone being slime, theyve killed off 80% of the most well acted characters.

And now she's speaking to an imaginary Tara. Can you taste the Shakespeare?

I thought that scene when they called the half dead Asian guy who tried to get away in a truck a "rice eater" just before they executed him was gratuitous crap. I guess the point is that the Sons are now a bunch of brutal assholes, but we knew that already.

Watching every episode is like a MMO
JAX approachesa an NPC and wants something but NPC needs something fix before he can help.
This is Dexter final season all over again. Just watching to see how it ends

At this point the show should just embrace the fact its a serial killer drama like Cornballer said the final episode should have Jax finding out the truth behind his wifes death and just have him go completely ballistic and murder every single person in Charming.

It would be an hour long montage complete with cheezy first person views, (just like the popular video game Call of Duty) bad rock music, a kill counter on the screen and the announcer from unreal tournament.

And it's often inexplicable why these people can't handle their own shit. How do these deadbeats ever rise to lead a crew when they never have the brains or resources to handle internal situations? It's especially bad when after SAMCRO does the job for them, the leader's like, "thanks, Jax, and if you have any ideas on what moves I should make next, that'd be appreciated too..." Maybe the writers' idea is to make Jax appear super smart and looked up to by other gangs, but it mostly makes everyone look like fucking fools.

lmao when nero said "don't go all gta on me" the other week it was a little too meta

I've been a huge proponent of this show in the past(I think seasons 2 and 5 are fantastic)....but this season is just a disgusting mess so far. It's really a shame. The main fault is NOT that the characters have become disgusting and terrible. In my mind, that's one of the best points of season 5, Jax was at his most evil(and post-Tara, there is no redemption arc left). It's that not only are they disgusting and terrible, but they're also stupid. It's that Jax and the clubs entire motivations for becoming even more murderous are entirely misguided and we as an audience know that Gemma has played them all for fools. It was the same main problem of season 3(the worst season by far).

Calling it now though:

Gemma's taking a permanent dive in the porn studio cage.

Switch lady was Natalie Skyy, doctor was Jenna Jameson, and Skankenstein was Puma Swede.

Thanks IMDB
I didn't need help for Jenna or Puma what am I doing with my life :(

You're doing the lords work.

Thanks for checking but I'm 99.367% sure it isn't Kiki (Natalie Skyy). She may not even be a porn star as Jenna and Puma were named in the credits but the brunette wasn't.

So not worth it

I quit Dexter halfway through the last season and just watched the final episode (boy, thatw as a mistake), but this show isn't remotely there yet.

I do check out for half of the episode though, getting distracted by phone and internet, which is never a good sign.

See I wasn't sure about her. I went through the whole female cast on IMDB and didn't see which one it was. Had to google Natalie Skyy and a few pictures kind of look like the girl in the show but some don't.

That was my best guess based on the cast listing.

The Irland parts sucked, but the end when the long con was revealed and they got the two birds with one stone was great.

Episode 3 was better than the first two. Not good mind you, just not that bad.
I laughed at Jax saying that he likes chinese food. Hot new sherif was thirsty as fuck, and i don't know if she's playing them or not.
Writing of gang meeting scenes are godafwul, was this always that bad?

I have a theory and not much to base it off of but I'm just wondering if Jax gets killed off early and the ending of the show is seeing whether a grown up Abel goes in the same direction as Jax. They're starting to focus around him seeing the violence. I know Sutter says he never does flashbacks but I wonder if he'd do flash forwards. Right now the season is a shit show but entertaining none the less.

The final episode of Season 3 made up for a very mediocre season
By far the best episode of the show

30 minute musical montage depicting various ages and events from Abel's life.

I'm struggling to get through this final season. It's too True Blood to me now. I don't know if I can.
I wish Clay was still alive.

It's also hard to follow everything as well. I'm glad Bobby mentioned something to Jax about slowing down. That might be good for the viewers as well haha

I just don't give a shit about these gangs and their "struggles." Last season ended with Jax's personal world crumbling around him, and now we're back to this stupid turf war stuff that no one ever cares about.

The show always worked well in spite of that stuff, and until Unser's investigation starts moving in the right direction it feels like we're just stuck with that, and little development elsewhere.

I'm interested in seeing how Jury deals with Samcro, killing his son(?). Also that bullshit call from Bobby only made it worse.

Also I'm not really sure what Jax's goals are anymore, besides hurt the Chinese. In the most over designed web of deceit ever.

More like under designed!

Are there any factions he isn't antagonizing by what he's doing?

The Mayans, Chinese, guy who took over Pope's business and even other chapters of his own club.

This show over the last 4-5 seasons has become a joke, but I will still see what happens to the bitter silly end for continuity sake. I'm having trouble seeing just exactly what Sutter contributed to The Shield which is a 100 times superior.

Did Juice ever hold on to any evidence that Gemma killed Tara? How is he going to prove it to Jax when he gets caught because he was too stupid to leave town?

Remind me again why they want Juice dead. Because he confessed to Nero about Jax ordering him to kill the woman last season? That's it? If they were ok with him to earn his spot back after cooperating with the cops then that's nothing.

That's all that I can think of.

Chibs is the only one who knows that he shot another member back when some coke went missing in like season 5?
