I meant to ask this earlier, but...why is Juice hiding again exactly?

I know Jax has become a real douche at this point, but I have to say, no one provides a beat down like he does.

One of the most annoying things about this show is that Samcro has had fights and then kissed and made up with every fucking gang in the series since the first episode. That shit got tiring by season 2.

And yeah, why the fuck would anyone trust Samcro with anything at this point?

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. He's also pretty ugly.

The actor is just incredibly wooden. Or he's scared of everyone on set. Neither's his fault.

I believe it's the situation that goes back to Jax ordering Juice to kill that Nero crew member's wife early last season. Then Juice was drunk or something and accidentally confessed to Nero. Nero then revealed that he knew to Jax, who had sworn he had nothing to do with the woman's death. Then Jax told Juice he'd been betrayed, just prior to last season's final moments.

Oh right, I forgot about that.

But still, was that worth marking him for death? And Chibs came off like he really hated him. It just doesn't seem believable.

Given that he was already a traitor who killed Darveny to regain Jax's trust, letting it slip to the one guy who Jax didn't want to know was probably the final straw.

Juice also jacked the brick of Cocaine and killed Miles in the process when he got caught.

This show over the last 4-5 seasons has become a joke, but I will still see what happens to the bitter silly end for continuity sake. I'm having trouble seeing just exactly what Sutter contributed to The Shield which is a 100 times superior.

In the case of The Shield, Shawn Ryan was there to reel him in, he probably helped contain some of his crazyness, whereas with Sons Sutter is the show runner, which means he has much more control over the show then he did with the Shield where Shawn Ryan was the show runner there.

Really the worse thing about this series that comes to mind is that Juice's overall current predicament. It started when he was pressured about his father being black, something the current club would give zero fucks about and lead him to his current position.

I'm enjoying this season of Sons of Anarchy. I ignore a lot of the stuff that might be unrealistic, like with the Sheild, too much shit going on, and just concentrate on the all out corner pressure being set up (if you like fighting games you'll understand that). Dude has a don't give a fuck thug attitude that's going to lead to a lot of fire and brimstone. Their lives are hellish anyways and are just spreading the pain they feel around. I"m going to enjoy where things are headed.

You know what's really weird about this show? It's a fairly popular show with great ratings, and yet I've literally spoken to only two people in real life about it. Hell, this thread, only went up to what, two pages since last week's episode aired? Nobody talks about it, unlike Breaking Bad, which had decent ratings but nearly every person I knew, male or female, was obsessed with it.

Just thought that was really weird.

Lots of people talk about it here IRL and I see tons of people wearing the shirts. We're a big biker town though (Springfield, IL.).

Holy shit that ending was crazy. And it's all Gemma's fault really. Anyway Jax looks like he is going to go on a murdering streak worse than before. Could Nero join him?

Also Juice plotting. Things are picking up.

How dare you kill Kim Dickens!

I was hoping she'd be the only survivor or something.

Come on, Sutter. The guy throws a grenade inside a small, enclosed space and no one is killed? It even looks like it explodes just a few feet away from some of the Sons, and they all walk out unscathed? Gimme a break, talk about plot armor.

it's funny because the way it was shot made it seem like chibs and the cop were on the floor basically where the grenade landed.

What's even funnier is that when they showed the aftermath of the blast, the entire parlor was more or less decimated, with a huge crater where the grenade landed. Apparently Sutter had us all fooled thinking this was a show about bikers, when really it's a show about superhumans.

lol the crater was funny. Sutter couldn't make one of them hit with shrapnel or something?

Also is Tig dying or what.

2 police shot, 16 white women killed, a grenade thrown at an ice cream shop, and it's all connected. In real life this would be national news while 500 badges descend from the hills to arrest everyone even remotely associated with it all.

We didn't know the cops were following us! That one convenient time they didn't leave someone at the end of the road to keep watch. And no one was apparently present in that lake neighborhood. And they just realized they were "rolling heavy" when they killed the pastor and his sex partners and that countless people could have seen them. These people are incompetent, just often saved by contrived writing.

How dare you kill Kim Dickens!

Now she can enjoy Gone Girl's presumed success without this show hanging over her head.

Did you get the number from the preview?

I can't believe Gemma set this all in motion just to cover her ass. Unbelievable! This is the kind of shit that you'd see in a GTA game.

Laughable again.

I don't mind having to suspend my disbelief a little to enjoy a show, but having to suspend my intelligence just to stop from screaming at the television is unforgivable.

This show feels like the last day of school before summer where the teacher says "fuck it" and lets you do what you want and throws on a movie, but everyone basically chats over it for the hour of class.

As crap as this season has been, that scene with Tig and Venus was probably the most beautiful, emotionally honest moment of a series that has largely been about juvenile rebellion fantasies. Venus is a genius character. It's Walton Goggins in drag so it's kind of daring you to laugh but he plays it so straight that you just can't.

I really enjoyed this episode and thought it was the best one so far. It brought back the humor I enjoy so much in the series and the ending was crazy. It's nice to finally see some blow back on Jax for the moves he has made

Jax: Okay, Now I'm worried

Tig: Fist bump, Jerking off phones, Yeah, Please, Watching Venus' arse, That was funny, Honey, Don't be disrespectful

Venus: Ooh after watching video, Startled by Jax rocking the chair, Poking Tig's chin, Tig holding her face, Kissing (close up shot), Shocked after the explosion, Who's my dirty little whore, baby?, I will help you because I am fond of you

This. The scenes with them were far and away the best parts of the episode.

The grenade scene was pretty goofy. Hand grenades have an effective lethal range of up to 40-50 feet. Chibbs and the cop were practically 2 ft away from it.

And who's gonna bank on the grenade breaking the window and making it inside? It's probably more likely to bounce off the window and back at the thrower, unless they broke the window with a rock or something first and I missed it.

Sad how the best parts of the show is a return of a joke character.

I honestly disagree that Venus is being played for jokes. Maybe at first, with the whole blackmailing the fat guy deal, but i think Sutter has realized she's become an ensemble dark horse and he's pretty much writing her straight from now on.

Juice ass is like Sutter's Montage its part of the bullet points per episode

Yeah didn't see that Chinese War coming since Jax started it anyway

I normally don't mind plot armour, but it's becoming far too ridiculous to stomach...

I mean the damn grenade was right next them, the whole bloody shop was devastated and the Sons walk away without even a scratch?

I'm now honestly expecting this to happen at some point...

And what the fuck at the black baby comment. Jesus Christ. What the hell, Sutter.

Also legitimately pissed that Tig didn't die. The fuck man...
