Damnz its almost time... 3 am tuesday it will go live. Sony sure has it all in the bag if you talk about momentum, love how their strategy is working. And also in disbelieve how microsoft handles it...

I for one do not want to see any Move games at E3.
I may be alone on this but Move doesn't excite me at all, even if Media Molecule is using it.
Move only games are not exactly the strongest point but it's actually really cool bonus controller for traditional games. I don't expect this but it would be cool to have KZ, InFamous patch move support later. Really makes the aiming control better if used correctly.

I generally feel the same way, although I am looking forward to San Diego Studios PS4 game, since I found both Sports Champions games to be amazing. Hopefully something that feels just as good as those did.

They are not showing a new game. Are they? That thing that popped up in a schedule was just additional content for God of War iirc.
Also, Stigs new game is rumored to be an FPS.

Probably PS Vita/PS3 stuff at the opening, maybe to get it out of the way. Then on to PS4 stuff, I think they'll show destiny probably in the middle of it all.

Sony's main weakness is their lack of a truly exclusive, high quality RPG franchise. They need one, and they clearly can't trust third parties to develop one for them.
It's going to end up being a shooter though, because this industry hates me.
I'd love it if MM's next project was a greatly expanded LBP. I just think it'd be neat if the sidescroller-focused level-creating aspect ended up being a small portion of the next iteration.
Also think it would be rad if they allowed for a variety of other interaction methods, like tablet and PC tools, to help add to the creation aspect. Not saying to port the game to those platforms, but just allow people to make certain things there and share them with people in the actual game, with a massive social networking aspect to broadcast it all. Could make the game huge. I think it needs something like that to truly break out into the mainstream.

Santa Monica has the chops to make an excellent rpg/adventure game. Some of the puzzles and design elements in Ascension proved it to me at least.

Yea, I think they'll start with Destiny, like MS usually starts with COD. I hope they show PS3 and Vita separately, then they show all PS4 for a big chunk.

A RPG made by those guys with Sony production values would make my dick melt.
Never gonna happen, especially with Evos move away from arcade stuff, but I'd love to see some of the people they took on from BigBig and Liverpool when they closed do a proper MotorStorm Vita. Been playing Arctic Edge, and the series suits portables very well.
Then again, there have been tweets from Evo employees suggesting they are two-team now (although I'm guessing everyone's currently getting Driveclub out the door, plus probably don't want to be promoting the next MotorStorm at the same time as what's supposed to be the next-gen game from the MotorStorm people).

That's the sad thing. Sony is so desperate to have its own "Halo"-level success that it's constantly throwing shit against the wall and making shooter after shooter in an attempt to find a niche that hasn't already been mined out yet. Even though they already have Uncharted, which is a big success already.
They still don't have a high-quality marquee RPG franchise though, especially after losing Souls to Namco.
I still believe there will be a partnership with valve and the PS4 will essentially be a steam box. With valve dumping a lot of their hardware developers and with the release of big picture mode and Sony seemingly turning the drm over to whatever the developers wish, steamworks working with the PS4 makes total sense. Additionally, the PS4 is more like a PC than ever before and you can already sync up accounts with Steam on the PC/PS3 so it's just an extension and a deepening of the relationship.
Plus, Sony has been gunning to make sure a lot of the indie development engines are available and working for easy ports from PC to the PS4. I think a partnership with Valve and the self publishing options for developers go hand in hand with all of that. On top of this, we are seeing a much bigger resurgence of developers pushing for PC ports, especially Japanese developers and, although this is pie in the sky, steamworks versions unlocking the PC, PS4,and possibly Mac version if available, would be a big deal.
For Vita, I think the big definitive handheld get which would provide the best control by far, and way better than on a touch screen, would be Minecraft on the vita. That game is still huge and I think putting it on vita makes perfect sense.

No way in hell they're going to give up a 70+ mil userbase. I expect more of a montage of upcoming PS3 games, rather than actual gameplay demos. We'll see I guess.

They should just show a PS3 sizzle reel, the same way they only showed a Vita sizzle reel last year. Problem solved. Lets 'em focus on PSV and PS4 instead.

It's following up a tweet where they asked what people are most excited about regarding e3. I'm assuming they've been cramming trying to get whatever they are showing ready. I'm guessing the last part is purely a joke
It's not giving up on them but there's no need to go into a long presentation of GT6 or Beyond. There's plenty of time to market those games but PS4 and Vita to a lesser extent should take priority.
The people taking time out of their week to watch E3 are the ones most likely to drop $400 on a new game console this fall.

Only if it was 3D like the Karting game... more 2D and they can't automatically count on my money like they always could in the past.
I hope its C i mean Killzone is sonys FPS right anymore and it will just divide the sales poor resistance 3. As far as RPG's go sony has none in house and there was a poll a while back on what PS+ members wanted the most and RPG's was the winner. Hoping for the best.

At this point they shouldn't be worrying about it anymore. Halo isn't what it used to be. I mean it's still a big thing and all, but it has been long overshadowed by CoD and BF, which are both multiplatform.
