Did anyone watch the Geoff Keighly interview with Bethesda's Peter Hines after the PS4 announcement?

I think that now with Microsoft releasing a fairly detailed description of their policies at this point, if Sony does not address the issue and pretend it does not exsist they will kill allot of their momentum because people will assume the worst.
Also to our knowledge, Sony has not cancelled any of their interviews, and they absolutely know it will be a hot button issue asked by everu major outlet. With Sony trolling, and joking with fans about the issue this could blow up in their face if they dont face it, address it, and it will ruin the "for gamers" motto they have been towing.
I didn't even want a PS3 but I bought one for MGS4 since my roommate already had a 360. Best decision I ever made.

Ther's literally no reason not to be multiplatform now.
It was never about the hardware.
It was about the money that Microsoft gives them.
It will continue to be about the money that Microsoft gives them unless Sony suddenly shows up and gives them a larger check that to them is worth breaking the relationship and it is business and this is their right and to them it is good business.

So what you have in the SD generation preceding the HD one?
GameCube. I was a Nintendo diehard until this gen. I've played tons of Playstation games at friend's houses though so I haven't missed out on the long history of the platform. I would spend days at a time at neighbor's houses playing MGS, RE, and FF over summer vacations when I was a kid. I just really didn't like the PS3 early on. Sony turned that ship around.
Being a GC and PS3 owner for the past couple gens, you have no idea how excited I am to finally be getting the best versions of multiplats.

So close to the show and still very few rumors about what Sony has for their conference. People have been expecting leaks and nothing has shown up yet. Can Sony actually keep the conference a complete secret?

well it's not till 9pm eastern on monday, so if anything leaks it'll most likely be during the day before the conference. IF anything leaks...

Worst scenario is that there is nothing to leak, but I don't think that's the case given the rumors of a game-filled show.

They kept a good lid on the PS Meeting as well. Only DriveClub and GG's presence was known in advance.
It also seems almost guaranteed that Versus will be there, which is probably the most major thing that could leak.

2 Days left and no major leaks so far? I'm actually starting to get worried now.
For once, I hope so. Would be nice to go in genuinely surprised and excited.

It may be mentioned but given that they just showed it we may not hear much about it again until Gamescom or even TGS. I hope they don't spend too much time on racing games. They're boring as hell on stage.

I'm thinking at least timed exclusivity for a year or even more. start of the gen is where the fight for userbases is the fiercest, andthird party dev will appreciate the moneyhat since userbase of both console would still be small.

Usually EU tends to leak stuff first, I think.
However, they could just be holding back images until the very last minute if possible. Or they won't send them out until after the conference?

The absolute most we'll get for GT6 is a 3-4 minute trailer. Nothing more.
Gran Turismo's market is Europe, the US doesn't care for GT. GT is also big enough that it doesn't need to be at a game conference, that's why the GT6 reveal was a month ago at Silverstone UK.

Well, they showed next to nothing in the event. We saw the presentation, but it seems like a lot was saved.
A new trailer for GT6 + plus a teaser of GT running on PS4 is what every GT fan expects.
I haven't seen that many Microsoft or Nintendo rumors either, so I wouldn't be too worried.
Just seems like these companies are more aware of the 24/7 news/internet age more than anything else. Only reveal stuff to the most important employees that you can trust with the info.

I don't want to see GT6 at E3. If they really want to show GT6, they can show it at their inevitable Gamescom conference.

KZ didn't exactly leak, just that GG would be showing something and rumors were torn between the new IP and KZ.
Total sales for the series in Europe is 34.7 million, and for the US it's 23.7 million. Obviously Europe accounts for a larger percent of their user base, but to say the US doesn't care for GT is ludicrous.

I didn't hear anything about these two before the conference. Just DriveClub and that GG would be showing a game. I followed the rumors very closely too.
They really shouldn't send out anything until it's been revealed at the conference, but there are other ways for things to leak. Remember PSP Go?

I know the numbers and I stand by what I said. Nine million is more than at least any two Forza games combined. It's not a small number.
Gran Turismo still doesn't need to be at a conference. Everyone is always expecting a new GT, and we know we'll eventually get it. Sony should focus on newer IPs rather than a guaranteed cash cow.
