Today has been a fun day. Really nice weather, relaxed atmosphere at the office, enough free time for me that I've just wasted away drinking Lucozade/Coke, annoying my PA, and randomly calling people then putting them on conference. That last part was kind of messed up, I admit, but still pretty fun. And last but not least, MS continues to provide an incredible amount of entertainment. You can't fault them for that now, can you? Plus, I received a lot of gifts from Big Boss. A nice thick document I've been waiting for, some nice tech stuff, and my new phone actually arrived! So slick.

All in all, a really productive day.

Now, for the first time in ages, I have a weekend with nothing to do. So, I'm going to go to the beach, then come back and finally play The Last of Us, the so called game that can potentially dethrone Uncharted 2 from its throne atop the generation (we'll see though I am expecting greatness from ND as always). A perfect weekend before the E3 event. I'll see you folks, along with your buckets of tears I'm sure, on Tuesday. Or is it Monday? Next week basically.

Three days until Judgment Day. Don't hurt yourselves Sony GAF.

I am a big fan of the work R@D does. Really talented devs. But Uncharted, as a franchise is too valuable to give to them at the moment, at least in the home console space. I doubt Sony will do it.

I think it was mentioned on some job application that they are recruiting people for a new "nextgen IP".

Now what I would like is for SCE Bend Studio to create their original pitch for Uncharted Vita game - open word/hub game which you can go on optional missions and explorations. That sounds so awesome, and a perfect way to implement all the great stuff that was present in a latest Tomb Raider game!

I think it's fake. No source on it, reads too much like a fan wishlist, and after Sony refused to publish Demon's Souls in the west I don't think From will work with them exclusively again.

Its been way to quite. The Destiny of Spirits stuff seems cool. Its impressive FROM can make so many franchises from the Demons Souls formula in such a short span of time. Or maybe DOS is Demons Souls 2 sub title? Maybe its actually a complete departure from the Souls formula. Who knows.
