I'm not going to lie, but I had shivers go down my spine when I heard the horn go off in the trailer

Then when I saw R3 was real, I teared up a little (got so many good memories from R1 & R2, flashbacks =/), CHIMERAS are BACK BITCHES!, Fersis load up the LAARKS me and you got some hunting to do
 
Idk why the hate for the Resistance series. I buy FPS' for the online experience and to be honest if you buy a FPS these days that has a multiplayer component and expect the single player to be mind blowing you are an idiot---that's just not where the focus goes.

That being said both R1 and R2 had superb online. R2's co op was fantastic and I spent a lot of time with it. Maybe it wasn't your cup of tea, like Halo isn't for me, but millions of sales proves people DO like the Resistance series.
 
Resistance 3 better take off as if R2 never existed and I might be happy.

Kind of like what DMC3 did for the DMC franchise after 2 was lame as hell....

And I disagree with this. KZ1 was varied as hell. KZL was amazing.

R1 was a good launch title.. R2 is the very definition of half baked.

damn that KZ3 MP trailer looked fine as hell. i know a lot of people hate vehicles etc in multiplayer but i just can't wait to wreak havoc in a mech! and i don't think i've ever played any multiplayer with jetpacks either so that's cool too i guess.

We knew about Resistance 3 for a long time, I doubt they would make a fake Resistance 3 billboard for a movie scene for nothing.
 
Well I wasn't expecting much so I can't say this was a letdown, but man do I have little excitement for Sony's first party lineup. The only thing they have is sequels to games that weren't that amazing in the first place. I really wish they'd come up with some new IP's.

I hate Halo, think those games are boring as hell, but I still allow people to be excited about every single new Halo game. ;-)

I don't know about others, but for me, when there are so many multiplayer FPS out there flooding the market, it's the single player and the story that stick with my mind after a year of release. It's what make it unique.

You could say that about the other two aswell, fable gears halo, mario mario mario errr mario. Its the way gameing has gone the last 5 years or so its a safer bet then new ip.

etc

Sequels is a stupid argument, if you get a fanbase for a game you build on it, you don't just decide to make new ip's ALL the time.

You must hate gaming then. It's all sequels with a couple new titles thrown in there. And that's on consoles, pc, and mobile devices. Go skip rocks on a lake instead, you'll be hard pressed to find the same rock twice.
