WTF did I just watch? I am selling my PS3, Vita and PS4 right now

Sir what are you saying, think about it.

Ps2 is a f2p title they have already shown. In a recent interview one of the devs said they were at ultra graphics at 1080p/60fps. No need to worry.

Everyone's gone tk the rapture will come in time.

TLG is dead

What is Gravity Rush i dont even know must be some obscure psvita title.

Gran Turismo.. why show that if you have DriveClub? Better wait for E3 2015 for GT.

Vita is dead

Vita ignored again :'(, not that I was expecting anything else.... Was hoping for some...biggish Vita game announcement, like Gravity Rush 2 for example.

Well they won in terms of announced new games for me, still a ton of games I wanted to know more about and/or get announced. Like Shadow of the beast...Witness...,First Party studios..., etc.

Was hoping for a huge update announcement too, Shareplay is a big an awesome surprise, but its just not fast enough, theres still a ton of features we've been wanting since Day 0.

DayZ, Share feature, Wild, Until Dawn was all gold in my book. I would of liked a little more information on bigger projects, but what they shown off was good enough for me.

- Sony Bend? Santa Monica? Japan Studio? Those still exist....right?

Bend and SM most likely at E3 2015. Japan Studio we already know is working/co-producing on TLG, Bloodborne, Freedom Wars, and Gravity Rush 2. I don't know how many more titles you want them to be working on concurrently.

Some of these troll posts are really annoying.

They absolutely killed it this show. As if someone on a forum who say meh speaks for everyone. They slaughtered it.

oh :(

did they want more sports and shootbang? Maybe the line up would have more suited Vinnie/Alex/Patrick?

Yeah Brad, Dan, and Jeff I think were looking for some AAA stuff. I mean during the stream Jeff was shaking his head through a lot of the reveals. Just watching and shaking his head with this look of apathy.

The only thing they were mildly positive for was The Tomorrow Children.

SharePlay is amazing. If it works well...easily the best thing in multiplayer since online multi.

Hell, everything was amazing, As good as or better than E3

If it makes people feel better, Rime, The Tomorrow Children, Wild, Alienation and Until Dawn are not indie titles. They are published by Sony.

Disappointed by the lack of SCEJ game, but that awesome RIME trailer sure made up for it.

Surprised Bloodborne was barely shown at all, I'm looking forward to more from the showfloor.

I thought it was just okay - a bunch of indies that may or may not be good.

And Sony is really shelling out the cash to lock up timed exclusives and content. Moreso than even Microsoft it appears.

Was really hoping for a jrpg of some sort.

That was a good amount of games and new IPs, that seemed to be right up to my alley...

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (I had hoped for this to come to PS4)
The enchanting Rime and Wild
Housemarque's Alienation
Ninja Theory's Hellblade (hopefully better than Heavenly Sword)
Until Dawn
P.T.
Ether One

The Tomorrow Children looked intriguing, but I suspect it's not my kind of game.

Not to mention the announcement of 10 million systems sold to consumers in just 9 months. Seems like I was close, when I thought they'd announce 8.5 million at E3. I wonder how many systems TLOU and Destiny have moved?

Despite the guy on stage reiterating that Sony has not gotten complacent, they most definitely have. What a horrible show.

Fucking disaster, so many indie games. So disappointed they didn't show anything good.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
Good conference overall, but a few missteps were still made.
- There was no need to devote any time to Destiny. Everyone who's watching this conference already knows about the game and many have played the beta.
- Too much time was spent on Driveclub. I just don't see that game doing well commercially. I feel the same way about several other games.
- Ubisoft is probably embarrassed that their 10-key share program was promptly upstaged by the Share with non-owners feature in firmware 2.0. It wasn't a secret that the PS4 Share feature was on Sony's roadmap. What the hell was Ubisoft thinking? Idiots.
I'd give the conference a B+ overall.
None of the games shown at the conference compelled me to want to buy them day 1 (aside from those that I was already sold on, such as Bloodborne). However, the Ethan Carter game looked interesting and the new Rime footage looked really awesome and far better than the initial reveal last year. Both of those games are now on my radar.
They had a Destiny trailer.
They has like a 3 minute demo!
Yes. Far Cry 3 details was just Blagh.
Weird nitpicks, but I'd go with just a straight B.

Very well paced, lots and lots of games, I loved how they didn't get stuck on previously announced things. But on the other side, dudes... You're leaving us out in the rain when it comes to games that were previously announced. They have tons of games but a complete lack of release dates and that bugs me to hell and back. I guess if there's no release dates, they can never be delayed.

The distinction between AAA and Indie, as far as quality goes, has been dead for years.

But importantly, the distinction as far as scope goes is also dying over the next few years.

The time to rid yourself of your ridiculous prejudices against the all-encompassing "Indie" term is now.

Pretty bad show from Sony to be honest. Where is Sony first party studio? no Vita supports (Vita lost it's best game actually) and no new real exclusives for PS4.

and again where are all Sony first party studios? the thing that kept PS3 afloat during its early years with great games is no just an story we tell to new kids, if Shu Yoshida is doing nothing (Nothing on Vita and nothing on PS4) then maybe Sony should consider replacing him with a new guy,

The negative comments surprise me so much, because I thought this conference, more than anything before, really affirmed how all-encompassing "indie" games can be. They aren't all these quirky pixel-art 2D platformers. Today showed a wide variety of genres and art styles and budgets, and it was fantastic to see.

No Planetside 2
No Everyone's Gone to Rapture
No The Last Guardian
No Gravity Rush 2
No Gran Turismo
NO SCEJ AAA RPG
No Sony Bend
ZERO Vita games

WTF did I just watch? I am selling my PS3, Vita and PS4 right now

Thanks goodness. Would be a blessing to relieve this forum of your dire, always-negative comments on the platforms.

There is a considerable difference in production values and drawing power which will never go away.

It's Gamescom

Sony doesn't announce BIG games there, the only one's I'll give you are Everyone's Gone to the Rapture and Gravity Rush 2

Also Vita is a dead system, there is litterally no reason to talk about it in a conference anymore.

No Vita love and lack of new AAA announcements. :( (Don't get me wrong, I like indies.)

Overall, it was decent. Still waiting the GTA V release date, come on.
