After a year where Microsoft pressed on with its multiplatform plans — bringing more and more Xbox games to PS5 — it looks like we might finally see something head in the other direction. According to Arab media outlet JustPlayIt, Sony is planning on bringing this year's LEGO Horizon Adventures to Xbox consoles very soon.
According to the website, the PlayStation owner could bring its LEGO Horizon adaptation to Xbox either "before the end of the year" or "during the first months of 2025" - the latter of which seems more likely at this stage.
Although this one is very much still a rumour, we wouldn't be surprised if it does come to fruition. When LEGO Horizon Adventures was first announced in the summer, we found the developer's reasoning for not bringing it to Xbox a little suspect - and there were hints that more platforms could come at a later stage. We may well see those hints play out in the coming months.
Anyway, this rumour should definitely be taken with a big pinch of salt given Sony's recent history with Xbox, but who knows, this could be the start of the PlayStation owner being more open to multiplatform releases that include Xbox.
