She's ridiculously hot.

This is a crime against humanity.

Just in case anyone forgot

This is so reminiscent of some of the posts I would see on Era (except reverse) in their attempts to cancel a game.

People would defend literal shit if it came out of their favorite asshole. This is DEI slop that belongs in the trash.

Loves his juicy stink trail scent
TLDR for me please:
How’s PC performance?
How long is the game?
Is it challenging or engaging combat?
Is this a marvel slop dialogue doo doo story?

Could be willing to try it depending on the above info.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

- Don't know, no DF or PC specific articles have been shared yet
- 10 to 12 hours
- Not sure, would have difficulty options I guess
- It's not Marvel, it's more southern terminologies and stuff

I believe ya'll are overreacting in this case.

The character looks absolutely fine within the context of the art style and overall tone.
Without any context, I can see your point of view. On the other hand, there is a pattern of uglification starting 5-6 years back that cannot be ignored. On topic, the game looks interesting, regardless of review scores.

Nobody has a problem with black people. But this deliberate uglification of characters to placate people with mental disorders needs to stop.
From what I've seen in trailers and gameplay this game definitely has a specific art style that can be seen in all of the characters.

This is terrible DEI and will flop badly
I mean, it's a game about a fictional town that's clearly influenced by Louisiana backwater fairytales while being made up of Cajun, Creole, and other deep south stuff.

Something having a black person in it doesn't equate it with being "DEI" :pie_eyeroll:
There are folks that seem to disagree, lol. Make it a woman and it's a "DEI" tornado!

Ok, but that isn't DEI.
Definitely an instance where it feels like that's the case. But this was another one where folks online thought differently as soon as they saw it, lmao.

I can agree that there is some validity in highlighting the pattern, but nuance is needed to ensure it's accurately applied.

In this case, it would be saying Coraline is ugly when she could've been hot without any context.

I'm saying if we are saying the problem is "uglification" then that isn't a matter of diversity. It isn't even a matter of being "woke". It is just not liking the design. Nothing wrong with that. I said the exact same thing about Star Wars Outlaws.
