Just listened to the 2 new Off the Hook songs on youtube and yeah..... Pretty meh imo. Squid Sisters still not topped
Ebb and Flow and Color Pulse are still Off the Hook's best 2 songs imo.
None of the squid sisters songs are any good
I brought my Switch but forgot the fucking charger so am saving its battery for the Splatfest

It's a calibration thing. Put the controller down on a flat surface for few seconds and it'll recalibrate.

Yeah, I've held my own against people who are higher leveled than me in Turf constantly so I figure that Rank shouldn't be too bad in comparison.
Maybe tonight I'll give it a go as whenever I log into the app, I get kinda sad not seeing at least a rank in my stats lol.
It is great! I've only pulled it off a few times though, usually towards the start of the round before things got crazy and I had plenty of ink.
The low tide Cohock waves with the cannons are super fun because of this too, taking down Fly Fish with the cannon from a mile away is really rewarding!

Only being last man standing and saving your crew comes close i guess.
Nah you'll be fine, I thought the same and I'm currently undefeated overall. Maybe I'll try some more tonight and improve my record to 2-0.

No, i think there is no limit. I got to 190 as my highest so far.
I'll try that if it happens again. I just got my right joycon back from repair and I was loving the gyro aiming with split joycons prior to sending it in so I want to get back to that.
I got a lot better at the game quickly once I started playing Ranked since I had to to keep up! Turf Wars is so relaxing now, haha.

We just had a "freddy" in our lobby who was around a level 4 with a standard roller getting zero kills and about 2-300p a game, everyone else was pretty experienced I actually felt bad for him being stuck with us.

To be fair, I was being super fresh in them last few matches. ~6 splats in each and some fun time keeping Chargers busy. =P
I keep getting lone players that are twice the level of everyone else. Like a grizzled, eyepatched ex-military guy turning up to a kids paintballing outing.
I'm thinking of just posting updates to SplatGAF as a travelogue/diary the next time this happens

God, I just got the dumbest team ever. We had horde and we easily held them up and we had more than enough eggs. We just have to wait the wave out, but no. Two of our members got greedy and went after eggs at the bottom of the level and got killed. Then the other member tried to 'rescue' them getting killed, leaving me to deal with the horde. Naturally, we wiped.

God, the matchmaking in this is something else. Pairing level 1 players against level 31 players just seems cruel. I know that level =/= skill, but it at least equals options for gear and such, especially if you haven't even reached level 4 and can't get out of your starter clothes. Not to mention more time with the game generally means more familiarity with stages, weapons, controls, etc, so pairing a brand new player against someone with enough time to get over level 30 seems unreasonable to me.
Yeah lol Always fun joining a game as a level 14 and everyone else in there high 20s and/or low 30s.

You can only replace items by buying a new copy from Murch. No idea why they won't let you overwrite yours in the shop. Keep an eye on the app/people in your plaza for the one you want.

haha. same thing happened to me earlier. Well, it was only two in canons and the 4th person was god knows where.
There are a lot of newcomers today too, likely in time for the Splatfestivities. Been swimming in level 5-6s and at the same time theres always a couple of level 25-35s on the other team to kick their little fresh faces in.

It's Turf War. There is no penalty for losing and higher level people are playing it less and less.
Would you rather have newcomers playing only with newcomers and wait forever to get matches today or in a month?
Not only it's one of the only ways to do it correctly it's also the best way.
Quick play in overwatch serves the same function

I'm with you. Quick play matchmaking in any other online game has nothing on this. I've never experienced such noticeable skill gaps in players in the same room.
It'll die down eventually. If it wasn't furries then it would be something else getting on peoples nerves. This Splatfest has an off-white ink and thats gonna bring something just as bad if not worse.
I'm fine with whatever artwork but if it gets too suggestive I'ma report ya.

Okay so 1000% Hero Mode completion and 100+ Profreshional in Salmon Run... guess it's time to finally start battling again and get off Level 4

I've not seen anything explicit on S2 myself but it likely got reported right away.
I'd wager that a good chunk of the furry posts aren't actually furry, just standard internet trolls and bandwagoners.
If it was, I accept your apologize if I sound tilted. I was just angry since I was already demoted from Profession to Go-Getter in my last round and wiping on the first wave just did it for me, especially when we had the round won.
On the bright side, I just had the craziest game.
Final wave, high tide, we got slammed by a steel eel and two of those spay bosses on top of the guy throwing bombs on his head. Three of us wiped and only one left. I thought for sure we lost since I lost a similar round just last game, but that last member managed to not only survived, but revived the entire team somehow. We did didn't have enough eggs and we only had 10 seconds remaining. Lucky, the last guy not only saved us, but killed the steel eel and we managed to get those eggs into the basket, barely meeting our quota.
Whoever that person is deserved a medal since they single-handily save the entire round.
As a game about human-squid hybrids I actually expected a bit more of those.
