So does that mean having one sub or 2 sub of something is a waste or the waste is not having 3 of something? I mean is the benefit noticeable.
 
Do we have any hard numbers about the number of gear pieces? New pieces from the last game? Do pieces ever get added in updates? Just curious!

I think I'm favoring the RG for Turf War now (Sprinkler does better for covering ground than Suction, but not as dangerous).

The Aerospray is an awesome weapon in general. Lol
 
I just found out what you have to do to unlock the hero weapons in multiplayer. (Beat every level with the same weapon.)

Flyfish can be Sting Ray'd if you aim at the pilot rather than the launchers. Only takes a second or so of fire to kill them. You can also Ink Jet them, though you have to wait for the bins to open and actually land the shots there which I'd say isn't easy in the few times I've tried. For the Cohock Rush a.k.a. Cannon round, you can fire missiles into the bin too.

That one actually works, but the hitbox is just suuuuuuuper precise.

Salt thread? Salt thread. Tri-slosher is such bullshit. It can clip you completely by accident at the very edge of the right and still demolish half your hp. Fuck off

I think it takes two hits to destroy an engine with the inkjet but I'm not 100% sure. I had a great moment earlier today when I killed two fly fish in one inkjet, things were getting crazy so I felt like I might've saved that round, haha.
 
Turf War is full of C- rejects today. The things I've seen, man.

More kills than the rest of my team combined even on some victories, and I just got out of the hospital. This weapon isn't good for ink coverage and I'm still getting more points than our aerosprays. C'mooon.
 
So first round of Salmon run, 10 second countdown and my whole team are using their specials.....

Am I missing something here? Why waste it lol

It's when they do it in a ranked match, or better yet when someone decides to camp on top of the rainmaker spot near your own spawn to "protect" it...The whole damn match...

I love this game but today has been full of idiots and I don't know how much more I can put up with it. Especially when this game really relies on a team pitching in. One player really can't carry 3 other players.

There really isn't a best weapon in this game. It comes down to selecting the loadout that best suits your individual style.

If you hate the special on a particular weapon, then go with the dualies that have the special you do like.

After a horrid and frustrating run last night, today the Splat Gods provided me with good teammates. Went 37-13.
Trying to stay humble though. The Splat gods giveth...and they Splat gods can taketh away.

I switched from using an Aero as a main as well. I got tired of seeing so many of them in my games and now 'roll' with Carbon Roller as my main. Im loving it. Took me a few games to figure out how to use it in a good way. But im kicking ass with it now.
 
I wish there was a mandatory tutorial for Rainmaker similar to that of Salmon Run. That feeling of despair as you eagerly clear the path to the podium only to realise the guy with the Rainmaker is staying back on a ledge trying to snipe people.

I'm noticing a trend of people who teeter around corners and avoid confrontation at any cost. I have no idea why they're playing multiplayer if they don't want to do anything.
 
Panic inducing moment when a teammate almost costs a Salmon Run at the end of Wave 3, by focusing more on a Golden Egg, past-quota, rather than reviving teammates.

Charger can actually be fine. Works well against Steelheads and Steel Eels. Heavy Splatling also can be really good too. If you get overwhelmed it's all over, but staying slightly back and positioning myself well worked for me.

Any paintbrush in Salmon Run, though...Octo Brush is the real shitty weapon in this set.
 
Crazy enough, this has been the most success I've had in like the last 3 or so Splatfests. Actually completed like 6 or so matches today
