If you stay back to paint your base when the match starts, you'll give time to the other team to gain territory. Save painting the base for when you respawn.

I first paint the base while moving ahead to build up my super, then I charge through the middle with my bubbler and push into the enemies' base. If I've wiped enough of the opposing team out, I can then double back to the middle and have a new bubbler ready to defend the area from their second push.

or go as far forward as you can and when you're confident super jump back to the base

I don't see people super jumping back to the base often, it can be pretty crucial

Isnt that going to happen anyway when you die?

The point of painting first is that you dont have to worry about it when you have 30 seconds left or so heated that a roller killed you that you want to jump back in the fight immediately.

I have won and lost matches where our base had so much unpainted space and the other team was a solid color.

It is done, unlocked every mini-games :)

It's be nice if I could win a single game today. Scrubby team after scrubby team after scrubby team today. Really burning me out. Not just losing either... like 20% tops for my team.

You know whether you're on a good team or not if they stay behind and cover the base BEFORE charging ahead. Too many times have I been the only guy spraying the base; it takes up so much of my play time :(
I disagree. Maybe you could succeed that way but I always make a push for the center/important turf right off the bat. The idea is you need to get there before the other team does, cutting them off from the majority turf. If your team (maybe 2 minimum) doesn't get to that mid point then the enemy team can push even further into your territory, slowing the pace of your progress while they take the majority uncontested.

Cleaning up home base in the beginning is for the Roller. If I get killed using guns I'll fill out parts of the base on respawn if I'm not needed on the frontlines.

Don't. Just spray the way to the battlefield, when respawning spray the rest. Filling it out only denies your team of easy special refill while re-entering the battle, the base needs to be filled by the end of the match, not the beginning.

The base is the least important area at the start, why would you waste time spraying any more than you need to form a path to get to the centre and prevent the bad guys taking that area?

You can get the base properly on respawns.

I don't get the Aersospray RG.. has to be glitched or something. Never seen a game where someone who uses it doesn't finish first with huge scores. Meanwhile I'm having 10-1 games where I fill in half the map on my own with the roller and get 1000 points? How is the aerospray rewarding so many points.

Exactly. Rush the middle, hold it. If you die, paint the base to build your super on the way back to the middle. Using this method I've lost maybe 5 of the last 20+ matches.

Making a beeline to the center is not wise unless you are seeking higher ground as a charger. Moving forward with constant stops at vantage points to spray paint in all directions (sprinkler-style) gains points, gives you more painted area to maneuver within during battle, and builds your super up to help take control of the middle.

I know it's you, but whatever. I'm talking about weapon balancing.
It's not different than having some characters better than others in Smash Bros I don't think. All the weapons seem to be perfectly usable, it's just fast fire are a little better for this mode.

Ok, GAF room is full. Starting a new one in five minutes, NNID is Skiesofwonder for those not already on my friends list.
