So is Kurt Mystique's kid in this?

Nope.
Missed opportunity. Guess they had enough family drama going on in this.Nope.

They don't really do anything with Quicksilver/Magneto, either. Which makes it weird when they give Quicksilver & Mystique an opportunity to do something with it, and Quicksilver just declines and essentially is like "next time, baby."
I said the same yesterday to my friend but to the exception of Jubilee. People are angry because they made such a big deal of her casting and stuff, but the film doesn't need more of her, giving the Horsemen more character is what the film needs most. As I've previously said, Jubilee is most likely in here as an early introduction for a bigger role as part of the X-Men '92 team.Seems like they shouldn't have forced the Weapon X part in the film, and instead, given characters like Jubilee, Psylocke, Storm, and Angel more time instead of once again putting Wolverine front and center even when it makes 0 sense.
She never said that. Hell she mentioned Psylocke barely has any lines. She said she just wanted to play a character involved in fight scenes and wasn't the "girlfriend" roleRemember when Munn made that big stink over turning down the role of Copycat in Deadpool cause she wanted a role in a superhero movie with some depth?
McAvoy's supposed to be in New Mutants, isn't he?
Essentially, the idea is that Mystique is in charge of the X-men now, so they're off doing X-Men stuff that we don't pay any attention to, while Charles moves over to the New Mutants and we follow all those guys on their 80s adventures.
Will he turn out to be Brood-infested?
I kinda want them go whole hog and just put xenomorphs in the fucking thing if they're gonna do the Brood.
SOMEONE'S HAD TOO MUCH COFFEE
This or the Auschwitz scene was my favourite part of the film.
edit: I know, comic books, but there's no way Havok is alive after that, surely?

Another Quiksilver scene? Why couldn't they just do some cool shit like this?
He was trying to blow up the school because he's one of Stryker's sleeper agent mutants that he managed to get on the inside.Haven't seen the movie but why did Havok shoot that thing and kill himself?

...
They made Alex Summers into a self-hating, anti-Mutant guy? Wow.
Also do they ever address Alex Summers' relationship with Cyclops? Rationalize him as an older brother or something?
:>
oh you

1. No.
2. Yes, as brother

Considering her performance in this film, I'd say it's for the best.It seems that the X-verse might be in trouble. JLaw is considering leaving the franchise (I think it has to be more of a money issue than a career move) and if that happens McAvoy and Fassbender will leave as well.

That's how Scott winds up at the school. His powers manifest, his parents ask Havok to go talk to him, and Havok takes him to the Professor.

his parents

Hopefully they're just foster parents because I need my Corsair and the Starjammers (not that there's really a chance of that happening, but I can dream).Yeah, I was disappointed when Scott's dad wasn't a space pirate with a wicked handlebar mustache.
Although I guess they could be foster parents.
Sit JLaw and Fassbender out for a few movies and dump a truckload of money in front of McAvoy.Suffer through J-Law or have J-Law leave but McAvoy and Fassbender leave though.

Apocalypse personally gave his horsemen cool new uniforms. He's a good guy.
And a hair bleaching for Storm.
Charles will have a better chance with Jean if Scott is not around.Hey remember when Future Logan tells Charles to find Ororo, Scott and Jean and Charles says he will? Well, he only bothers to find Jean, doesn't bother with Scott, and has Ororo right in front of him and doesn't seem to give a shit.
It's the most comic-accurate version of Professor X to date.
I also love how he loses his hair because they're trying to force him to look like Oscar Isaac. That's hilarious.
