Jadeite's end was as much as the first cour of the show could handle, but what I took from the episode most of all was that "girl power" was just starting to come into being as a thing. Usagi, Ami and Rei's declaration here would eventually pave the way for Prime Minister Mana, so from a historical context, that's worth noting. As for the tennis episode, Beryl suddenly has more than five frames of animation, Nephrite and Zoicite are entertaining to watch (I CAN FEEL THE COSMOS), and Rui was decent enough for a one-shot character. Umino being a conspiracy theorist is a surprise to one, and I finally understand which episode that "Usagi is a tennis ball" .gif came from. The second cour's animation looks much more dynamic and interesting than the growing pains of the first cour.
Slowly, the show starts to come into its own.
Though really, Minako and dub!Usagi should've been the ones to fight a tennis monster. It makes sense when you think about it.

SAO isn't actually the worst thing since since child porn and there is worse stuff out there but I hope you realize that people have legit reasons for their general ire right? However, to hate something you actually have to know something exists and whether they like it or not, people know SAO exists

What they wanted is something intelligent enough to distinguish friend from foe and wouldn't mind the self sacrifice of exploding.
Trouble is that when you're self aware as an existance you kinda mind dying so the project was stopped and they didn't pursue kayaba when he turned this into something else.
Also he did patent the thing.. At the point of the story where you are it's a closed secret.It's just that the main designer on Sword art online mecanics, decided to go crazy for his own purposes instead of sitting on a potential gold mine. Because yeah , SAO , when it was annonced , before the incident was a total sucess, so much that it was "THE GOLDEN chicken" of the year if you understand what i mean it was printing money..

I'm going to it. Have no idea what the expect and I'm only going for a day. Will be doing the most American thing on July 4th, attending a convention for Chinese Cartoons.
Going with my cousins and will be attending the KLK thingy.
I cannot imagine a redubbed Yugioh first series. Those voices are just too stuck in my head.

popularity of series in general means more critics as well
I wouldn't be surprised if someone picked the series up again, with how popular stuff like Madoka has gotten.

I forget its full name but there's a show airing in the summer season that instead of school idols is about "local idols",haha. It's short handed to "Locodol" and they represent an area of Hiroshima I think it was. It's based off of a 4-koma so maybe it will just be more of a comedy or "cute girls doing cute things" type of thing.
When I think about it, it's probably just a distorted perception from mostly frequenting a given subset of communities.
Boring is fine.
Futsuu no Joshikousei ga (Locodol) Yattemita. Means something along the lines of "Ordinary High Schools Tried to Become Local Idols".
As the show that will take up the reins of idoldom from Love Live, I'll gladly support it. It can have all the fun of idols with the small town charm of something like SoreMachi.

Second half is dumb, but when I look at other anime that I've watched I think, "Yeah, this is at the same level as a lot of anime I've enjoyed, if not better". Being pretty and expensive helps too.

As a character. She's pretty alright. Kind of hard to get attached to any of the students since only like 2 get a ton of screen-time, and she isn't one of them.

The secret truth is that the fantastically hammy 4kids dub actually enhanced the material. It was just the censorship and the butchered OST that made it a worse experience.
Now if Duel Monsters had allowed Oogata Megumi to reprise as Yami Yugi after Season 0, my opinion would be different.
