Oh like you wouldn't want an video game or MMO with Hunter X Hunter's kind of class system.

I mean,
Enhancer, Transmuter, Conjurer, Emitter, and Manipulator? (Though I don't know how Specialist could be implemented) Think of the possibilities!

It'd still be an MMO so I'd still be bored out of my mind.

You are so right, m'dog.

Rabbit dude is crazy likable. What a nice guy.

Midousuji...I swear he gets more twisted and insane with each passing moment. It's kind of glorious.

Nice episode.

Love Live! S2 - 09

Snow Halation baby. Best LL! song (arguably). Anyways, looking past the cheesiness it was a decent episode. Apparently winters in Japan are no big deal if they can walk around with skirts.

Is the Cowboy Bebop blu-ray the Half Life 3 of blu-rays? When is it going to get released?!
Funimation have no incentive to be timely with its release in America, so they're basically just fucking around and going at whatever pace they feel like.

HOW IS BABI FORMED!

I want those blurays so badly.
Its pretty much the only thing I really need left after CCS and Sailor Moon blurays.
IT would be nice to have a full Moon O Sagashite set and Dennou Coil though.

Fairy Tail Epsidoes 1 -32 impressions

Enjoyed it far more than I thought I would! I don't watch very much shonen, so even if it's pretty "par for the course" shonen as others say, I quite enjoyed it.

Natsu is adorable with the travel sickness, Happy is too adorable, Lucy cute, Erza is hnnngh, and Juvia is hilarious. Can't wait to see more of her especially.

I liked the arc about Gray's old teacher, had plenty of feel moments. I like the Japanese voice cast quite a bit too. Glad there's plenty more for me to watch here.

Ah, Fairy Tail. My biggest guilty pleasure in anime. Yeah later on things can get kinda repetitive with nakama power ups but that OST always made it worth it for me. I love this show.

It'd still be an MMO so I'd still be bored out of my mind.

Sad, but true for me as well. I can't stand any MMO because there's always gonna be some guy who spends hundreds of hours at a time at the game and is gonna have stronger and better shit than you.

I learned this (and a number of other harsh MMO lessons) the hard way playing MapleStory.

You know what? I feel like giving Acchi Kocchi another watch. I need some diabeetus mixed with good comedy. Might be giving Nichijou a rewatch some time soon too. Might even do so with my friend.

M3: Sono Kuroki Hagane 7

So, like, the second prototype is
made from Emiru
, right? I don't think it's been actually stated at any point, though this show is pretty good at getting me to tune out so I might have just missed it somehow. Either way, after the events at the end of this episode it seems pretty clear.

Come to think of it, I bet the Mukuro is
the original prototype that had the failed mission
. That would make far too much sense.

Acchi Kocchi is cute but if it's good comedy you're looking for you'd best go somewhere else.

I remember enjoying the comedy, mainly the pig tailed girl. It was the right combination. Either ways Nichijou and Nichibros would be the one I'd make my friend watch. If he can enjoy those then I might make him watch other stuff. He's pretty open minded about anime now. I mean he was able to watch Highschool of the Dead. That poor thing.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V Episode 8

I wonder if one can make a deck to take advantage of all four schools of summons, itd be pretty incredible of a deck but kind of hard with the sixty card limit, but I want to see a deck do it. Good episode with the three new duelist of LDS introduced. Great Yuuya pose.

I'd expect them around the holidays. Heard a rumor that they'd come out around then anyway.

Funimation's sitting on a lot of older Bandai licenses. Hell, they're just sitting on a lot of things in general.

Sentai is doing the same thing in terms of the former Bandai/Sunrise licenses. Hopefully some news from both FUNimation and Sentai will be spoken about these titles' releases soon.

That's true, though from what I remember the only notable Bandai title Sentai picked up was The Big O. I remember not really being impressed with the others. It's sort of weird, since usually I greatly prefer the titles Sentai releases compared to what Funimation offers.

Yeah, things have really come together in the last two episodes. Al's naivete works a lot better when placed against the backdrop of Bernie's covert mission than it did against a city in the aftermath of an honest-to-god fight between mobile suits. And they definitely built enough in those episodes that the moment when things finally got out of control, it felt meaningful.

I understand why the people making the show would have wanted giant robots fighting in the colony earlier rather than later, but I think things would have worked better if they'd kept the conflict more distant until this episode, just so that dissonance from early on wasn't an issue.

I really liked how they handled the revelation of
the whole mission being an expendable decoy too
. It was such a great way to give the ending of the episode that much more weight, and it fit nicely into the narrative with a very unromantic look at war. Good stuff.

M3 the dark metal EPISODE 7 COMMAND OF SOLITUDE

Just what is going on...the Akaashi Heito attraction thing and having the Argent and Sable is good development though some explanations need to take place. The fight and tears on both sides was intense for making Akaasi seem a bit crueler than Heito, always the cool nice guy.

First things first. This show is chuuni as hell. There's going to be a bit of that when elements from other countries are absorbed into the greater framework of anime, but the way it's presenting the Cthulu mythos is exactly the kind of thing Oreimo's Maschera would go onto mock.

Mostly.

Any eroge, barring all but the most depraved, the most doujin or the most linear, will inevitably have some element of romantic comedy in them. And here we have a cute Necronomicon, plenty of maids, robot girls, and a nun. Seeing Kuro be flustered by Elsa's advances even when he's in his muscular albino form is a good contrast. It keeps things light, and even if it wasn't there, Doctor Doofenshmir- West would've done that on his own. He's one of my favorite characters just for his sheer flamboyant scenery-chewing. (Al Azif has her merits, too.)

There's very few mecha series in my backlog list, compared to other genres like magical girls or love comedies, and this was one of the few. The robots themselves with their obvious CGI are alright, and the fights never last very long, but it's about on the level of a Super Sentai fight. And I'm alright with that, Sentai is my main source of giant robot action these days.

The OP is nothing to write home about, animation wise, since it's just a collection of in-show clips, but musically, it's got some cool Engrish going for it. The ED's also pretty decent - Kanako Ito delivers. And it looks like it has a bit of the gather-the-objects collecting quest going on. A mixture of tried and true formulas and whatever was cool at the time. A different sort of beast from Nyarko, but in other ways, it's doing some very similar things. The Gotham-esque city setting is also kinda neat for its novelty.

I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

Space Battleship Yamato 2199 21

Maybe I'm stupid or something but this episode was confusing. Although it might've been on purpose.

No, the problem is you're not stupid enough.

Yamato should've killed all the braincells you have by episode 3 but it's clear some of them are hanging on for dear life.

I suggest banging your head against the wall so you can enjoy the rest of Yamato.

Good to see some love for it :) Yep, the music is real good! I love the Heaven's Tower Arc opening song.

It's funny seeing Natsu go all DBZ half the time, but I the cast is pretty fleshed out. I like all the characters for the most part.

Can't get enough Juvia though. :D

Oh my goshhh this is so much fun. If you would have told me we'd get cuts like this when Part 1 was airing I probably would've laughed at you.

Maid outfit = Nana Abe
On Kanako's left holding a book = Chieri Ogata
On meido's right with the ahoge = Miho Kohinata
Blonde hair holding the cup of tea = Momoka Sakurai

For the record, Sachiko and Mayu (the yandere) are top tier. A few of the others have potential, particularly Momoka.

Thank you kindly. Will probably need help when the Cool and Passion key visuals show up as well.
I think Sawano is still good, even if he sticks closely to one style. It's effective and dramatic, and it works well in shows that need that sound. He's basically the Danny Elfman of anime, or a lesser Hans Zimmer; two film composers you can pretty much immediately pick out because it sounds so close to the last movie they scored.
Pretty much my opinion of the post Guilty Crown stuff as well. It's not "bad" per se, just always the same thematically. Though both AoT and KLK were "LOUD NOISES" shows to an extent so I guess it kind of works.

Well, if they get the questions put to them during the upcoming ANNCast, I wonder how they'll dance around the issue this time.
