The more I watch the show the more I like it than any of the Gundam series including unicorn. Michel is still a big cry baby though. I really love the guerrilla warfare battles. Makes things more interesting than having a super badass Gundam that can't be touched by regular troops.

It was started as a harem because Akamatsu needed to fool the higher ups that wanted him to do another Love Hina. Then he genre shifted it and did what he wanted; a straight-up battle shounen.
