Thats a shame because Little Wing is a really great song. One of the more nostalgic ones that makes me want to rewatch the show right now.

Yup, that was fantastic and even my knowledge of the manga didn’t take anything away from this experience. I saw some people claiming that this was predictable, not to me though. Never expected Peco, who was trashed in the beginning, to become Ping Pong’s main drive and also to come this far. What a wonderful guy, love him. Should probably check out the live-action now. Looks funny from the footage I already saw.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that if anything does occur on attack on titan between eren and Mikasa it wouldn't freak me out because they don't even call each other brother and sister and only started living together not much before the opening scene.

Well frankly, everyone needs their own hole puncher, and 40cm is pretty self sufficient for that task. Hell, put that sucker in the middle of town square for an art exhibit.

Quite frankly, the Futa prez sounds like a main lead with details like "40 CM COCK AND ENOUGH GIRTH TO CONTAIN AN UNKNOWN QUANTITY OF NIAGARA FALLS"

Alright, after about 27 episodes I feel like Gundam Seed finally got good. On 33 now and the past few have been great. Before that though? Pretty boring. The drama was terrible and the fights were mostly lame.

An episode about background animation! Well, not really, but it had a lot of it out of nowhere. I wonder if people like Jariten as much as I do? Too cute. Ataru and him make a surprisingly good duo.

I like how the biggest psycho in the show-Seiji, feels he's in any position to give romantic advice.

For a moment I really thought this was going to be it for Shizuo. Kida has been getting more and more unlikeable since he rejoined the Yellow Scarfs, allowing his gang to beat up multitude of people like that, hope he can get at least get some redemption at the end. This arc has been worse than the preceding ones so far, I'm not feeling the whole high school trio drama too much and they're eating too much of other characters time.

There are more episodes after this one that have crazy background animation out of nowhere. At some point it begins to feel like the show has so much budget that it doesn't even know what to do with it, so Oshii starts sneaking mechanical animation and military vehicles into the show at every possible opportunity.

I like Ten and he rises above "annoying mascot character" status pretty quickly. He and Ataru are more alike than either would admit, and one of the fun things about their interaction is that the torment isn't totally one-sided. Ten is there to make Ataru's life even more miserable, but Ataru is still equally capable of returning the abuse that Ten gets out and Ten, even as the precocious brat, doesn't always get the last laugh. One of the things that makes UY's ensemble cast great is that no one is above being on the receiving end of whatever comic mishap is transpiring.

Ah, I was thinking that might be the case with the budget, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. And, yeah, that certainly seems to be the case regarding everyone being tormented. It keeps things from getting stale or formulaic, I think.

I'm moving through the show slowly, but I'm having a great time with it. I even have a friend who I showed a couple episodes to who will enjoy just watching the odd episode with me (and I'll watch the odd Gintama episode with him). It feels like the shows biggest strength outside of it's core cast, is the flexibility of the narrative to go just about anywhere. There's really no setting or concept that would feel out of place in Urusei Yatsura. It's great fun.
