Awesome, we adapted one whole chapter. Well, this is about how much I remember about the chapters of the manga so I guess no more complaining about how slow they are in adapting it. But, I do like the changes they done for the temple chapter. I am surprised that we were introduced to the goddess' angels so early, but it did provide for a pretty sequence.

After hearing certain people talk some crap about this episode I was a little bit concerned about it. Suffice to say, it's actually pretty good. It's not particularly impressive, unlike say, Hunter X Hunter's first episode, but it was very solid. The fight animation was, as you'd hope, pretty nice.

This trailer singlehandedly restored my hype reserves. I am so ready for Saturday.
REAL ACTUAL SPOILERS
Grinned and immediately felt bad about it when I heard Rin wish her father well.
I hope they play it straight. I think it'd complement the series nicely if so.
The fight animation was good, though at times the drawings when Kouga wasn't fighting were very cheap.

I would probably be more upset about this if the existence of the second season didn't make such a scenario extremely predictable.
And yeah, the water animation in that episode was crazy.

They should cancel the current Mass Effect anime project and just do one of them new-fangled gag animes based on the "explain ME to Japanese gamers using a school setting" comic. Much more suited to the budget (& crew skillset) of the production.

As Pierrot said, Smile is the one that elicits your above reaction very strongly, but apparently Heartcatch is the best written one.

Smile Precure is the best Precure show of the bunch.
Also, Symphogear happened. Figures that the all girl psuedo-yuri action shows were pretty bland/bad. I wonder if this means a complete shift back to male heroes in hapless harems.
Izayoi probably leaves a plate around after every "meal" so you can check around his room if you like.
