Yeah, a lot of these make sense.
Intertrack handled the vast majority of anime dubs in the nineties.
Regulus, what's your avatar from?
I keep going to the wrong place to find this thread.
It must be after where I am in the show, because I'm near the end of R and she's still just kind of........there.

Precisely 'Los Gatos Samurái' aired here in Spain with the dub made by that company, and even people who usually criticize that kind of "imports" have admitted it was a really good one. It was that good.Intertrack handled the vast majority of anime dubs in the nineties.
I consider the search for maturity and the exploration of the unknown world to be defining characteristics of a coming of age story. Age is always important in that equation, and the elements of earning independence for first time and coming to terms with sexuality are the kinds of things age factors into. If we were to start using some sort of metric, I would consider Richard Wright's The Long Dream to wear the coming of age label strongly.
While I would agree that the first half of Steins;Gate drags a bit, it's not that bad. At least, not compared to something like Shiki.Steins;Gate 2
For something that is going snail's pace, at the grabs for chuckles kept me going through this episode.
So what's good this season?
You'll find your way home soon enough.I keep going to the wrong place to find this thread.
Begin the epic journey! All the f/z praise has me curious.

I disagree. There could be a coming of age story starring a dude in his 40s. It's just a number after all.
You should be using subscriptions!
I've been labeled a creepy pedo by NFL-GAF. It doesnt really mean a whole lot.
Steins;Gate 4
P.S.: OP...slowly...growing on me!
excellent *gendopose*Oh, so that's where this went.
I predict a surge in anime recommendation request threads in the OT.

A Black Falcon's replies feel wrong to me, when there isn't even a mAcOdIn's quote in them. It's like there is something missing. In other words, has mAc deserted the anime threads?!
It will never not be an ugly mess.

From behind with the hoodie on, she reminds me of a Final Fantasy character, but I'm not sure which one. Maybe Garnet from IX?calling it now

Pretty close, not exactly the same. It still looks like a toy train in the show too if that's what you're asking.
You heave to learn to accept that this is the brave new world.
The thread title suggests otherwise.Time to talk about Korra!
I thought you quit the brave new world of being part of Community.
Shorter retirement than any of Yamakan's
I also wonder if we will see a drop-off in casual posters.
I actually liked Shiki a lot in the beginning because I had no idea what it was about. The atmosphere kind of got less creepy as the show went on IMO.
There are casual posters in here? I've never seen them!
What? I'm obviously completely casual, coming into the thread on page 90-something and rarely watching more than a show a season.
FINALLY, AN UPDATE!

oh my how faaabulous.
oh i agree, hoodie moe ftw
I'm already hyped.
Do we have a release date yet?
Now, what I want to say is that this Lupin the Third has the forceful conviction (as demonstrated on the magnificent episode 4, for example) of a strong man but also is a self-respected and experienced criminal, he is the cunning monkey capable of anything, as merciful or depraved as the situation comes[...]but denying the soul of this primary character is like denying its origins and what it was at first, what made him, before those two added to him a different layer on top.
Said that, for Castle of Cagliostro, the way they made Lupin the Third refer to (can we say, lets see... 'retcon'?) himself in those origins as "crazy and young", like justifying himself, made me cringe... that was low, Mr. Miyazaki!

I was promised Arjuna, and it did not dissapoint.
Yay, lets all rehearse our funerals, and be reborn again.

Alright, that's enough, I must go watch this episode now. If it fails to live up to my expectations then it's all 7th's fault.
Even if Miyazaki makes Lupin say those words in that movie, it doesn't do any to rectify the two very different portrayals of what's supposed to be the same character.
Jex what have you done?
It's a brave new world indeed.
why did someone change their avvy from glorious Legend of Galactic Heroes to the shit Ore no Imouto???
It's time for an intervention. Someone ban him until he can sort out his personal demons.
So can we post cute things more freely?
