I'm still enjoying it so I don't really see any reason to drop it.
although akanbe's starting to push my patience.

lol

yeah, that's been on my list for a while.

At least something funny is done with the akanbe's in episode 9!

Excellent, HeartCatch is better than smile by a long shot, and if
you dislike the akanbe's, I think you'll like the monsters in HeartCatch a lot more.

4 hour left before we go To the beginning again. :D

Upotte!! hype?

i'm looking forward Mysterious Girlfriend X more than anything else that begins airing in a couple of hours.
i'm gonna watch fate/zero when all the bd's are out so i can marathon it in one fell swoop!

The latest manga chapter actually reduced my hype for MGX to zero because it reminded me of how there's been virtually no character development for the whole series so far.

I'll still probably watch the first episode just to see it animated, but that's about it.

Finally finished my rewatch of F/Z S1, finished the Drama CD yesterday, all ready and hyped up for season 2. It's time for us to commence once again THE SUMMONING OF HEROIC SPIRITS! :D

Naruto SD: Rock Lee 1 -

The funniest thing in this episode, though, actually did happen in the first half. As seen in the image above, it was when Tenten, playing the straight man, reacts when the girl Rock Lee is trying to help says how the debt collectors who are after her have cut off her water, gas, and electricity. Tenten says "wait, we have gas and electricity?", only for the others to not get her point. I found it pretty funny, though, because of course series like Naruto do indeed do an incredibly bad job of actually fitting themselves into a setting that makes any sense at all. I mean, are they in the modern world, some fantasy land, or the past? I have no clue, and neither does the writer, obviously. Like, there aren't any cars, but there certainly is modern clothing and modern-ish buildings... it really doesn't make any sense. And of course, Naruto is far from alone in that; that's an extremely common problem with fantasy anime and manga. However, characters rarely actually comment on it, so yeah, it was funny stuff to see her say that. :)

I laughed when she posed the question, pretty nice anime for her if they can keep her involved.

Knee ligamant in a nutshell is the joint that joins two bones together, it's not something you can "recover" from exactly just that the ligament gets smaller and smaller each time it tries to get fixed, and Dr Mine has that professional confidentially with her patients so she legally can't talk about it outisde of the room where she has a one on one with her patients.

Wow, so thats why Hibino was angry, thanks.

Okay, I liked Kyoko at first, but she gets pretty damn annoying..until she gets funny...and then it reverts.

Wow, that was boring. So much CG, so little animation. But then parts of it are shots directly lifted from the original OP, so I guess if you have some level of nostalgia for the original it might mean more?

Yeah, definitely seems like an ode to older series. I wasn't partial to it either, then again, have no connection with Yamoto.

Noo! communityduckroll brand hype must live on forever!

Context...curious!
The context is exactly what it looks like. Seriously.

Remember, MGX is going to have an original ending, which has definitely increased my hope it will avoid following in the manga's footsteps.
Upotte!! hype?

I liked Yuru Yuri, though it wasn't as high slice of life as the KyoAni stuff. Makes up for it by being, well, full of yuri though.

Still waiting on my Girl Friends or Prism adaptations :|

I bought it!
The two TV series, and the OVAs, and the sadly-DVD-only OVAs that come with the Premium Visual Books, and the PSP games, and a couple of Nendoroids, and some artbooks, and comic books, and some drama CDs that I still need to listen to.

Well OreImo does move about twice as many BDs as Queen's Blade in Japan.

Queen's Blade has beautiful Rinshin character designs! (Ys 6 art, for you gaming-side people)

There's only one other multi-series "sexy battle" cartoon that rivals Queen's Blade in success, and that's Ikki Tousen...which also has Rinshin character designs.
So the lesson is: hire Rinshin.

ah so thats the dude. never knew he was apart of the Ys series in the art design.

The Light of El Cantare
I may or may not watch the first episode of Upotte out of morbid curiosity, but I'll never admit it here.

There's no fun in it that way, though. :(

I was under the impression that different Queen's Blade characters were all drawn by various artists.

It's a 1 cour show. There isn't any way they should remain that faithful to the manga and apparently thats a good thing!

I only read a few chapters and I enjoyed it a lot. I can't see how they screw it up!

Mai Ritoru Poni: Yuujou wa Mahou 5

For a show with Yuujou wa Mahou in its name there was very little friendship is magic within this episode. I really didn’t like this episode. For everything that was upbeat and cheery that was the first 4 episodes this one was a total buzzkill and a total downer :(

Basically the moral of the story is that your friends will have other shitty friends and it is totally okay for that to be the case. Hooray, friendship is magic! Only thats not really friendship at all. For an episode that contained bullying I really expected there to be a better anti-bullying message. None of the ponies really took any kind of positive message out of this one. I guess there were some enjoyable moments to this episode, some of the Pinkie Pie shenanigans were actually funny but it was pretty hit and miss, and generally miss. This was just appallingly bad kind of like today’s Tottenham - Sunderland match.

Even the songs are lamer than Heartcatch. Inferior Precure confirmed.

The moral of the story is that griffons are bad people. Racist.

Wait, what? I've never heard of this.

I won't be able to sleep peacefully tonight

It's kind of a GAF meme that all of the insects in Australia are gigantic and out to kill you.

who says memes can't also be true?
