Honestly the show has a ton of plot holes and unexplained things, but taken as simply a story and not thinking too much about the details is the right way to go with it.
Things are bad when you pull the Turn Your Brain Off card on a drama.
I turn my brain off for most drama shows. Its the only way to survive.

I honestly didn't either, but then I marathoned NTHT and then Saikano back to back. I call it the depress-a-thon.
Are they really that depressing? I mean does it make you want to curl up in a ball and not see the light of day again kind of depressing?

Saikano really is. Its a pretty fucked up series.
AlthougH I think it tried a bit too hard with some of the tragedy in it.
The whole premise is depressing as hell though. A guys small girlfriend gets kidnapped by the govt and transformed into a killing machine of war and as she loses her humanity she tries to keep the relationship together.
She's so cute too.
Knee ligamant in a nutshell is the joint that joins two bones together, it's not something you can "recover" from exactly just that the ligament gets smaller and smaller each time it tries to get fixed, and Dr Mine has that professional confidentially with her patients so she legally can't talk about it outisde of the room where she has a one on one with her patients.

On a brighter note, a friend asked me for some anime that have to do with time traveling. I can only think of Steins;gate, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Higurashi. Surely there are more? Please enlighten this young padawan.
Gonzo's not too bad, other than the fact that they're dead. They did animate Saki <3

I missed this show. More magical girl Ayumu fun, more supernatural hijinks, more action. I love everything about this show conceptually. I also don't really understand how this is less visually appealing than Sankarea (though I did notice one shot with the chainsaw looking as if it was on another dimensional plane than the background). They got the atmosphere down.
Can't wait to see where this one goes.

It wasn't likely to be anything more given the source material.
There's a melodramatic twist, but it's basically a school comedy about friendship and forming a baseball team.

Every time I see Little Busters! mentioned, I think of The Pillows album. Somehow, I can't imagine that it's anywhere close to being as good as the album.

Don't worry I'm sure one of the kawaii stereotypes gets magical cancer at some point, and we find out another one is actual the mystical embodiment of the protagonist's pet rock, and other stupid crap happens all for the purpose of making undiscerning otaku cry.

Haruhi Suzumiya (one of the characters is a time traveller and her future future self also turns up)
Zipang (modern day submarine travels back to World War II)
There are of course many more with time travel as an aspect of the plot but these three have it be at least vaguely significant.

The two TV series, and the OVAs, and the sadly-DVD-only OVAs that come with the Premium Visual Books, and the PSP games, and a couple of Nendoroids, and some artbooks, and comic books, and some drama CDs that I still need to listen to.
Well OreImo does move about twice as many BDs as Queen's Blade in Japan.
Queen's Blade has beautiful Rinshin character designs! (Ys 6 art, for you gaming-side people)
There's only one other multi-series "sexy battle" cartoon that rivals Queen's Blade in success, and that's Ikki Tousen...which also has Rinshin character designs.
So the lesson is: hire Rinshin.
This phenomenon perplexes me to, I know deep down that it's horrible cg like many an anime before, yet I can't stop being transfixed into watching it.
I demand to know why this happens.
You really do like making yourself suffer don't you.
