Yami was more of a collective experience for some of us. I think that's what helped maintain a tenuous grip on sanity, for the most part.

Yeah, that was quite silly, in retrospect, cause, tbch, I didn't at all notice them missing when watching through it the first time, lol. I was caught up in the moment, completely. But, kind of like I touched on in the the reply to Jex though, I do think the next major arc is going to be the MASSIVE one we're all hoping for. Just by it being Takasugi and Kamui in the helm, and what was done in T4D arc, I'm thinking some of that ever elusive history will probably be probed, at the least, and not just for Gin, but Kagura--who hasn't seen any exploring since Yoshiwara.

Simply knowing the basic premise of the latest manga arc is getting me hyped for it. I have to hold myself back from looking in any greater detail.

Yeah, don't really think this is for me. It's very subdued, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but most everything seems to serve the purpose of being cute rather than being funny or entertaining. So everything just winds up feeling very...flat. Only with cat ears.

I mean, I can tell you about Yami's awful cinematography, terrible shot composition and appealing editing (not to mention it's moronic storyline) but as anime is a visual medium it's best to see it first hand.

As I expected, this weeks episode is just no match for the first one. It was girls with guns talking about bullet trajectory and bullet spread, a.k.a boring. The fact that the girls were guns actually made no difference at all this time around - a significant step backwards if you ask me.

All the vile, reprehensible and creepy material that made the previous episode so memorable is missing. I wasn't going "Whaaaaat?" everyone five minutes. Ah well, dropped.

Kyousuke acting as a mediator was hilarious especially with how Kirino and Kuroneko inserted one another into their novels. The second half where she's researching her new book idea was pretty great as well. ED was apparently a nod to the in-universe show Maschera Kuroneko is so fond off. I didn't realize it changed.

So, a trip to the ocean/hot spring combo. While it started so slow with Keiichi being unable to blurt it out, it quickly turned awesome with Urd pushing Keiichi closer with Belldandy and Skuld pulling Keiichi away with a self destructing helpless maiden robot and traps. I liked the ending where everyone's plans just falls apart expect Belldandy's and it does look like she got Keiichi's message so somebody wins in the end I guess.

I'm not really joking though! As stupid and awful as the first episode was at least the antics were centred around it's "unique hook" - the girls are guns. We haven't seen that before!

This weeks episode was just moe socom - girls with guns. We've seen this a lot. Literally pointless action scenes, firehawk would be proud.
