If you mean it's the installment from the 90s that is secretly one of the best shows in its franchise, then yes.Macross 7 - Ep 2
Is this the G Gundam of Macross?

Whoever was the director or writer of the Bear Miko ought to be blacklisted so future adaptations or whatever get the lowest ratings and then he'll stop getting work.
I started watching it, only to realize that I accidentally started on episode 12 and then went on to episode 1. After realizing my mistake I thought that the advancement in story between the first and last episode was miniscule and made the rest of the show probably not worth watching.
Make this last season last! ;__;[Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb] - 06
I'm going to cry when I watch Sae & Hiro graduation right? Just the Hiro-san part of this episode got me in a sentimental mode.
Good, now I have the last episode of Tamayura to make me cry too.
Yea I didn't get very many laughs out of this show. Just spent most of it feeling bad for Machi. That was like, half of the 'humor' in the show. If there's one thing that sums up this anime, it's mean-spirited. Machi is constantly forced to do humiliating things against her own will, and when she screws up and breaks down the show expects us to laugh at it. In the end she'sregressed back into a child-like state while refusing to leave the village, and the show presents this as a great happy ending. What's so happy about it? The assholes of the show win, basically.
What an absolute waste of a fun premise. I guess Polar Bear's Cafe just set my standards for talking bear anime too high.
it wasn't THAT bad, just highly forgettable.
You know, can you just pay for a trip up without the climbing? Or is that basically not allowed to prevent it from being a pure tourist trap?the way down is literally just the service road on the back side of the mountain that doesn't look as pretty. we passed like 4 roadcrawlers on the way down
By the way, if you're considering Fuji, the way down is much much more taxing on your knees than the way up. And bring a good hat; there's no shade whatsoever on the way down.
Oh right, I forgot Rightstuf picked it up. I mean, they still have like the second season to do, but yeah they'll never do this in HD. I assume only Gundam and Utena will get that treatment.Yeah. And esp happy its in better than SD. Still bloody annoyed that Tamayura finally got licensed and its bloody DVD only. Same with Chihayafuru.
I bet that's what happens with Hyouka too.
Voltron is getting 78 episodes, meanwhile I can't get Yamato to release a second one already.
I'm not sure what you mean. Yamato 2202 is in development with a planned release of early 2017.

Hah, I suppose so. Although I probably wouldn't mind taking a car up and down because why not. lolIf they do it on the reg they don't advertise it.
I wouldn't recommend it anyway. Getting to the summit of a mountain is cool, but it's only really amazing because you've been fucking struggling up the side of it for however long. Otherwise you might as well have taken the elevator up Skytree or something.

The writer fucked off of twiiter because he can't handle taking responsibility for his mistakes
To be fair, I read it. Certain aspects certainly became worse.

Can you link the reddit post?I didn't even know that happened until I saw the reddit post, which also had the author's lone comment that got deleted from his blog as well.
And I say that as a person who basically only watches anime featuring girls who learn life lessons. lol
What about Yamato?
was the adaptation so bad or was there a massive backlash? There are far far worst anime shows out there. Seems like there has to be something else going on for people to be wanting to distance themselves so badly from this.

I dunno, like I said, it's almost shocking to write an ending that basically goes against the anime convention of girl learns life lessons by the end of the series that I can see someone trying to go for that to comment on the nature of those types of shows.

Well, it was about Melda learning to be a princess and falling in love with a human woman she can never see again so... same thing. What about Yamato?
I guess I don't know anything about the show so I have no idea... and I don't know if even this is enough to get me to want to watch the show. But, for whatever reason, it sort of has the sting of Aku no Hana or something in terms of just being "anti-anime".I can't pretend to know what the anime writer was thinking - I've seen people speculate that he was deliberately trying to stick it to the manga author - but I think the fact that there was a steady pattern of abuse played for humor throughout the show weakens whatever message he may have been trying to get across.
lulz~It was better than anime ought to be so he's slotted it into the "white people tv" part of his mind.
white people tv should be a channel. Bryan Cranston stars in everything.
last time he starred in everything he ended up stuck in a shitty godzilla film

Coming soon to a Power Rangers film near you!
24/7 Aaron Sorkin channel. You'll be killed with liberal smugness.white people tv should be a channel. Bryan Cranston stars in everything.

This is why they say anime fans have no taste
Blacklisted from the industry. Okay..."Person who is bad at their job deserves to lose their job."

Blacklisted from the industry. Okay...
It was a shitty godzilla film when it stars Kick-Ass as generic soldier no one cares about instead of god damn Godzilla.
Not even the sweet battle scene makes up for them trying to make me care about his family.
Let's focus less on paying money to blacklist people from the industry and paying money to get good people back into the industry.
Someone get Imagawa to make a Kickstarter for Shin Great Mazinger already.
Imagawa actually literally might be blacklisted.

He storyboarded an episode of Durarara last year, so probably not.

I think I heard Secret Base play at the end of episode 24 or 25.Dude that was like 2 episodes, tops.
Well they dubbed the movie, so I guess why not? Probably one of the more unnecessary dubs anyway. lolhave we discussed that Gintama is having its first 51 episodes dubbed?
asking because the news is apparently over a day old
Yuri plane action.shit, I have to rewatch Yamato with my goggles on this time
This can't be true because IIRC he worked on this kid's short series last year that lasted three seasons.
I just went through his ANN profile, besides the one episode of storyboarding he did for Durarara, the last show he worked on was in 2006.
