I forecast a post by ben at friday night 11 PM pdt. "We couldn't manage it guys, looks like next week!"
I was really thinking that they weren't going to make it with the Hull update. Quite amazed they managed to get it out - and without glaring spec issues to boot.

Everything they do basically comes in hot. Most companies would sit on an update or event and go over it in detail to make sure nothing is wrong before publicly announcing their intentions. Then the only thing that can go wrong is unforeseen technical glitches when they actually release the update/news. CIG, on the other hand, announces their intentions before the thing that they're intending is finished (sometimes I get the feeling it's not even started).
I mean, I appreciate the rapid and free flowing information, and the excitement they have in keeping everybody involved, but they'd really be better served by tightening things up just a bit. Make sure they have their ducks in a row and then tease. Don't get me wrong, I still want them to be open and everything, but just be a tad more professional and befitting of a company with over $80 million raised.
That all said, why am I seriously looking at the Hull C now?! The design has started to grow on me - those 4 pods around the front, and the engine symmetry... I don't need a 10th ship. I wasn't even planning on doing cargo runs before. Yet this stupid ship is starting to appeal to me.
Edit:
[1] I spoke too soon. They did screw up the specs again. If nothing else, they're consistent in this. =P
