Holy shiiiiiiiit, that was the Imperial ship I wanted the absolute most.
It seems not.
Looks they might finally fix the issue of the ship select screen for Fighter Squadron being a total joke.
Then again, considering Y-Wings and Bombers might be pick-ups instead of selectable ships, I don't get my hopes up.
My guess is Defenders and B-Wings are new flyable ships for all modes, with those Y-Wing and Bomber icons being mode-specific pickups.
I mean, we'd better fucking get B-Wings, especially if they're going EU for the Defender.

Yeah maybe environmental hazards, like Turbo lasers in Fighter Squadron or when piloting on Sullust? Still doesn't explain why there are icons on the map.

I'm guessing they are part of the skybox, just like the Medical Frigate, Super Star Destroyers, and other ships in the normal game.
I will be seriously chuffed if it's not playable. I don't think it's part of the skybox, since it gets so close in this shot:

Maybe it's the same case as the Bo-Rifle. It shows up in trailers but it hasn't and won't be released next week.
We'll see, but i'd be really surprised if they released new vehicles like they did with weapons/star cards in the past.

I think I saw HvV mentioned somewhere. But it seems like it will have very few modes from the beginning, with Battle Station and maybe one or two more?

Yeah looks like it or maybe a hack? Never happened again in the next match. Pretty incredible though.
Also, Oooh, they added another endgame tune.
Have they patched the game recently?
I think there's a glitch that's making the rounds that allows all the heroes. Hopefully it gets patched soon.

I think (and hope) Battlefront 2 will be the prequals and then Battlefront 3 (2019) will be Ep 7-9.

No I think they're gonna head straight for the sequel era - it's more profitable that way.
Also, 2000-2010 had an over saturation of prequel products. So I don't think people want more of that any time soon

I always forgets that Battlefront 2 will (it will right?) have a full campaign mode. I guess it makes sense then with Ep 7 + some other stuff.

Death Star looks great. Chewbacca seemed a bit iffy in the trailer, but it was more his face than the fur actually. I will reserve judgment until I see it in the game itself. And even then, in graphical terms that would be one small misstep in comparison to the rest of the game's amazing look.
Do hope that it holds up on Xbox One though. Bespin really suffered from aliasing and some other graphical quirks, which seemed strange as you'd think that something like Endor would be more taxing than the environments presented on Bespin. Talking about the WA map here, because the smaller maps were downright gorgeous.

Who here plays on XO anyway? Battlefront has always been a great game to play solo, unlike Halo 5, fuck that game if you have to play solo. But I wouldn't mind teamups for Death Star.

Unlocked scout for the first time, and I fucking love it. Jetpack + scout is exactly how I like to play this game.
