No GAF is pretty good about spoilers. But fucking Yahoo and facebook are terrible about posting spoilers. I'll be avoiding those until i see the movie, especially once it comes out.

This is the first Star Wars movie I have "followed" up till its release.
GAF used to be good about it. But not anymore. Just in the last 1.5 years I have been spoiled more than in the 7 years prior.
I am sat here thinking of all the ways I can be fucked going into this and its mounting, if I could go 6 days without internet I would, im off reddit now, never had social media, not opening twitch chat, gaf is my last home D:

Might be slightly off-topic, but Vice ran a feature on Arts in the Armed Forced featuring Adam Driver and a few other actors doing work in the Middle East. The entire video is actually a really cool and enlightening watch, but around the 24:30 mark there's a little Star Wars nugget that makes me love Adam Driver so much.

Didn't know Driver was in the military until listening to Stern. Lots of fascinating discussion in that interview.
This too. Mustn't enjoy interview a whole lot, or perhaps, just isn't great at them. Seems like a completely different guy in that vid, in terms of his speech and body language.
First time ive seen him in "his" environment, he always seems quite shy and taken aback in interviews, seems like a really nice guy.

Entered a Verizon promotion to win free tickets and I won some. 2 hour drive to my hometown for it but I already have tickets to 7pm on Thursday and figured why not take the drive. Good excuse to visit my mom's side of the family close to Christmas.
I'm curious if Verizon will have any special swag since they secured 2 screens for it. Unfortunately, I can't choose seats even though the theater is reserved seating.

I rarely hit the cinema nowadays but this is just unmissable. It's pretty much the only film I've been super excited to see all year. Nothing else comes close. Seeing this on release day (December 17 over here in the UK). Going to make an entire day of it. Hope it's awesome!

I can't understand it
I spoiled myself for this one because I wanted to know what the new canon post-RotJ universe was going to be like before going in. Had I gone into this without doing so, even without knowing the old EU had been thrown out, I think I would have subconsciously still expected something derived from the old EU, with Jaina, Jacen, Thrawn, the Yuuzhan Vong, etc. And it would have bothered me.
I'm going spoiler free for 8 and 9 since now everything feels well established in my mind, but I'm glad that I did read everything for this one.
