Ah, thanks. Best Buy is always iffy on pre-order stuff like codes and whatnot, are we supposed to get a code when we pre-order to enter on the site? How will Bioware know we pre-ordered?

I'm not sure if I want to preorder this. It ran like shit on medium settings when I got to test it. e8400, 260GTX, 4gb ram, win 7.

You get an email with the code that you enter on bioware site on your account after.

You should get a pre-order slip with the code in which you'll apply online. Honestly, if you can go the Amazon route, I'd do that instead. Just hope your not too late on picking up what edition you want.

Having problems on trying to sign in onto origin, saying my password is wrong. I manage to put in my pre-order code on the site anyhow so I'd imagine this Origin issue is only temp?

How do preorders work on Amazon ?

Do we have to pay when we preorder, or when they ship the game ( so that I can cancel if I change my mind ) ?

So what is the advantage of pre-ordering? The email just says early access but in other mmo preorders that is like 48 hours of early access. Is it like early access now? Also what is the advantage of being in a guild and preordering?

On every game pre-order I've ever had they only charge when they ship.

EDIT: Are all the GAF guilds PVE?

You pay when you ship except for if you are paying with gift card/promo balances.

In those cases they deduct the funds from your gift card/promo balance instantly.

I ended up going to Gamestop for my CE's for that very reason, GS never charges till it ships but have always got me into things early.

I just preordered a CE for me and my brother :)

There will be.... sometimes Amazon is slow on enabling that. You can keep checking back and change the shipping when they flip the switch.

Vanguard beta was the most miserable experience of my life. The game froze every few feet to load the next zone chunk, and shit that killed you would fucking agro you once you rezzed. I'd be standing at the rez stone and here comes Sasquatch.

If I buy this game on Amazon will I be able to link it to my account like you can on Steam with Steamworks titles?

If so I'm gonna pre-order on Amazon since I have lots of credit there.

If not, then I'll probably just pre-order on Origin.

But if you want to start playing day 1 you'll need your retail code, so you need release date delivery. The early access expires the day the game comes out.

I believe so, yes. I think it'll be like how Battle.net works. You put your serial number in and you'll be able to download a digital version whenever you want.

Ordered digital ce via origin at 2:15 am, get my confirmation email, card gets charged etc then just now an email from origin saying my ce is canceled. Wtf EA? Don't want my money?

I figured they would be the same thing, but I guess I can how that could be a problem if someone cancelled their pre-order. It should e-mail you the retail code as well once your purchase goes through honestly.
