I just got my code from pre-ordering via Amazon for the CE, and was able to punch it in just fine. Sorry dude, maybe Amazon can give you a different code.

I hope so, other wise I am going to have to go deal with Gamestop and I really don't want to do that.

So I got my pre-order in for the collectors *150 OMG* from Amazon. I even got the email with the code. But now when I goto register it on SWTOR it tells me the code has already been used. Am I the only one getting that issue?

I have already read through there FAQ and contacted Amazon they are "looking into it".

This is so frustrating.

No issues here I did my CE pre-order this morning with amazon. I received my code a few minutes and registered my code.

I know the SW universe is really what is selling me on it though, I want a "go to game" like WoW was where I could always sit down and just play for any amount of time and kind of get something done.

Caught myself. I heard about the pre-order early access, etc and was about to pre-order but then I remembered my original feelings on TOR and my general MMORPG burn out. Which is crazy in this situation since I took advantage of the Rift free time week that passed only to log into the game and logout 15 minutes later and I didn't go back. Sometimes I forget only to be reminded after I start playing a game again or make a purchase. Don't really want to waste any money this time around so glad my self-control kicked in. Should be interesting to see how this game turns out but think I'll get a viewing stance on this game.

I'm curious, if I'm likely only going to be playing alone or in small groups of 2 or 3, I'm not interested in PvP and I can't see myself getting involved in giant group quests, is this game going to be a good fit for a inexperienced player like me? My hope is that I could just play the game as I would a single player or coop Bioware roleplaying game.

SWG was the first MMO to take the monthly fee up to $15. Will EA take the same initiative with SWTOR? They know Star Wars fanatics will pay anything which they made apparent with the CE pricing.

Game is supposed to be very solo friendly, each class individual story is basically a single player game in a MMO setting so you can have people join you to help complete missions and such.

As someone who will be playing as a Bounty Hunter, pvp servers will be a must for me since there will not be any sort of player bounties. There can be player driven player bounties.

You don't need it day one. You get 5 days of free play time before having to put in your retail key.

Yeah, once I started seeing the price, I questioned whether or not I would get it. Then...

So yeah, Regular edition of TOR for me. Ordering CE at GameStop, though, since I can always drop it back down to the regular but I'll still have a CE if I want.

UGh.. i dunno if want to preorder again, because im sure if i cancel my Futureshop one its going to cancel my whole order. It was the deal where you buy 1 get $5 off, 2 get $10 off each and buy 3 get $20 off each pre-order games. So i pre-ordered forza 4, diablo 3 and starwars and came out to like 129 tax and shipping included. Well.. theres still time i guess. Hope FS will figure it out.

Most lifetimes are more than 200, and that does not include the $50 you have to pay for the game itself, nor collectors content of a CE which costs extra and is still seperate from a lifetimesub.

Amazon.com always shipped me games to Canada, but you have to pay addition charges for customs and all that jazz.

After 2 Years swtor: 55€ + 23*12€ + 30€Addon = 361€

2 Years of Diablo 3 + Guild Wars 2: 45€ + 45€ + 60€(2xGW2 Addons) + 30€ (D3 Addon) = 180€
