With the slight chance of a late September launch, but yeah, I'd guess early October.Interfectum said:So October release then.

Dinosaur Tamer said:There goes my launch in September guess. Well, late September is still somewhat plausible.
It must be because I bought almost nothing in the Steam sale. I already own everything.Interfectum said:The force is strong with Gabe.
Steam does it too.Zalasta said:I can't believe people are okay with being charged the full price right now for a pre-order. Origin sounds like a great distribution platform...

Amazon said:Someone contacted Customer Support earlier this morning on the SW:TOR General Discussion forums:
"For those who have pre-ordered the Base Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic, Head Start access will begin three days prior to the release of the game.
For people who have pre-ordered the Collector's Edition, the Head Start access will begin seven days before the game's official release.
Head Start will end on the day that Star Wars: The Old Republic is released. However, as a courtesy to our pre-order customers, you will be given an additional five days after the game's launch to purchase Star Wars: The Old Republic and redeem a game code.
If there is a delay in entering your code due to your retailer being unable to provide one immediately, it will not affect your entitlements as outlined above."

Ferny73 said:For those asking, Czar and myself were actually talking about moving the US guilds to PVP since a lot of you have been asking about it. We will be discussing it a bit more as we get closer to launch.
Kintaro said:You'll see a big drop off in members in doing this. =/
BrokenEchelon said:Well that's what I'm confused about. You get an Early Access code that lets you download the client early (effectively DD) but it seems there's a separate retail code which you need to put in (from your box) on the day of the game's launch.
BrokenEchelon said:So wait, is that essentially saying that we can keep playing five days past the release date with the early access codes?
I currently have the 2-day shipping set on mine and I really don't want to pay even more for the game to get here on launch day.
Sure but its not anOrigin exclusive.Ikuu said:Doesn't make it right.

We're still talking about it so no big deal right now. Just wanted to bring it up since everyone was discussing it.Kintaro said:You'll see a big drop off in members in doing this. =/

Thread title is misleading. It isn't an open beta since you have to be selected to get in.Jarmel said:Knowing my bullshit luck, every friend I have will get in except me.

Question for you all. I got the digital ce via Origin and put in my code over at swtor.com but I ended up going with the CE from Amazon. How would I go about updating my account with the code? Saw no way to do it.
Because he wants more of the CE stuff.MikeE21286 said:Just wondering, but why do you think you have to actually update the code?
rukland said:So I got my pre-order in for the collectors *150 OMG* from Amazon. I even got the email with the code. But now when I goto register it on SWTOR it tells me the code has already been used. Am I the only one getting that issue?
I have already read through there FAQ and contacted Amazon they are "looking into it".
This is so frustrating.
