I do pray to whatever god on my bare knees that Bioware will never, and I mean never, resort to whatever the fuck it is Blizzard is doing right now.
I wouldn't doubt they will, do you think they would be spending so much money on an MMO if it weren't for WoW? EA even said in there recent conference they are looking to follow the industry not lead it.

Nothing wrong with that. And if they can take what's currently out there and improve it, bonus for us players.

You should play the class you ENJOY playing...not what class has a voice you like.
I want to play every class. Jennifer Hale just made sure that Fem Trooper is the first after Smuggler.

Someone on the TOR forums made it.
I appreciate it.

Yeah I'm not saying it's a negetaive on face value, just trying to put things into perspective for somone overreacting about something.

Am i only one who's definetly going to skip female trooper because Hale voices that?
Seriously, i'm tired of hearing her everywhere. She's not bad, she's good but since Mass Effect series is among why favorite, i tend to hear her enough (and i play mostly maleShep).

EDIT: Robert Clotworthy's IMDB profile page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0167139/
Star Wars: The Old Republic (Video Game) (post-production)
Senator Evran/Various

EDIT: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320395/fullcredits#cast
I wonder how much of that is true

Just to make it clear, I was referring to the new Diablo 3 auction system.

I wouldn't wanna see anything like that near this MMO.

Well, if it does work well in Diablo 3, i wouldn't be surprised if others started copying the system, like EA and BioWare...

Considering that there are quite a few Western MMOs with microtransactions now, D3 isn't exactly breaking new ground here.

You got your LOTRO, DDO, EQ2, Eve Online, and of course WoW itself with the cosmetics and server transfer stuff.

Doubt it for TOR, not for a long while. A regular item shop though seems kind of expected for this as EA started toying around with it for their other games.

It's not about microtransactions, it's about D3 and it's real money transfers

D3's model makes 0 sense in a game built like WoW with presumably BoP/BoE loot and raiding, just like an item store makes no sense in D3.

"lifetime IP ban": until you unplug your cable modem and plug it back in? (for ISPs that use DHCP anyways)

I would think a MAC address ban would work better, but then I guess people would just use throwaway NICs.

You can easily change your MAC address. At least on Linux. I've never tried it Windows.

They do state it clearly & often. It's in almost every email, is posted when you install the beta & used to be at least, in the login as well
Are you sure it doesn't say account ban and not IP ban? That makes more sense, and it's easy to start another account.

Yeah you can change it, also people could spoof the MAC address of someone else and cause them to get banned.

So it's full sized compared to most of Gentle Giant statues which go for about $80 usually. Can see the markup. At least it's not tiny and called a "statue" just for the hell of it.

Looks ok, decent paint it seems on the face, hopefully production models look as good.

Would have preferred that bounty hunter TOR statue though

How come they didn't make one with Satele Shan?

Villain toys/statues for SW have always been more popular with the fans.

wow, 12 buttons on one side. Does it even make sense? Why not to split the ability load between keyboard and mouse?

And the buttons are way too close to each other.

This complete set looks like a very expensive failure to me. :p

I'm sure one can customize the buttons as you see fit, for some they will have theirs set just the way they like it, and I doubt one would use all 12, just the ones they want to use.

White mouse and keyboard? No thanks. I would have preferred a Shatele or Shae statue, though. Malgus is cool and all, but boring looking. And besides, he doesn't look enough like Malgus.

Don't see the eye problem, but he does seem to look older, of course to remember what we have seen of Malgus is him in his younger days as the game takes place a while after the CG and the Deceived book.

The shiny paint of the armor though is kind of lame looking as what we have seen hes not shiny looking in anything unlike Vader's armor.

Am I doing something wrong, or is that cake website still not completely cooked yet?

No this is some dry cake still. We're waiting for another serving that's a bit more moist.

Ugh. Too much man, too much.

I don't even know why we beat around the bush with betacake, or alterswtor :p.

Already exists, and works very well from what I have heard.

A lot of people have been using the Razer Naga for quite awhile now and swear by it. Love the look of the TOR items, but since they are all being made by Razer, I won't be buying any of them.

It's exactly the same thing as some Razer mouse design. A bunch of people buy it for MMOs for macros or such.

Yeh I know what you mean. I was starting to enjoy finding ways to beat around the bush though :)

It does, I loved it for WoW when I played. Takes some getting used to but once you're done, it's golden. first 6 are more used abilities and the closer to back ones were for 1m-5m abilities. I never used them all though.

Can't wait to start an MMO from the ground up with it though and being able to have the abilities there from the get-go instead of reassigning.

That mouse + keyboard + headset looks like cheap junk. If its made by Razer then I'm semi-surprised because even their lesser quality stuff usually looks good.
