Hopefully I'll get in before this thing launches. There's no way I'm spending money day one on an MMO without playing it ever again after getting burned on Rift.

Going snowboarding for the weekend in the Rockies, would rather do that then play this game.


However I will indeed be home Sunday, so a solid 12 hours of playtime will be had by me on that day!

I got an invite for a test, then I realized it was just the weekend, whats the point lol, I'd use up a ton of my bandwidth downloading the client =/

Just received a mail, they're starting to assign guilds to servers in the "deployment" stage. If you haven't already it's time to get into one of the NeoGAF guilds on the OP. :)

NeoGAF Empire needs 1 more member with pre-order for implementation people.
I know there are people out in Europe that wanna play TOR on the Empire side so just sign up guys! No need to be shy!

All this beta invite stuff is starting to hurt me in the balls. Seems like nearly everyone on NeoGAF got their invites (as long as they're in the U.S of A).

One member PMed me and told me he sent application and i asked him to resend it as i didn't see it... but i still don't see it in the roster.

Pissed off at BioWare for making yet another US only weekend. Wanna bet EU release will be catastrophic due to some freak issues?

Yeh tell me about it! If they're going to release in Europe with this amount of testing, servers might turn out to be horrible.
I'd really like to see stress testing upped in Europe, even if it were just to ensure me that they're actually giving a shit about us. I don't even need an invite!

Of course Bioware would send me an invite on the weekend that Skyrim is coming out. I mean, I've already gotten into one of the previous betas, so it's not a huge deal, but it's too bad they don't give you a code or something so that I can give my invite to someone else.

Indeed. From what I've heard the european servers are like a ghost town.

I guess we'll find out when ever the guild stage starts.

I got in the beta!! WOOT... got my email this morning.. Tried to DL the client before i left to work but the servers were down to maintenance. :( I CANT FUCKING WAIT!!!!!

Was going to ask the same thing. Of course BW does monitor IPs, and this weekend is for US only. I wonder what BW employees think if they'd notice someone playing from Finnish IP...
EDIT I'm sort of happy this weekend is US only, no way BW is going to disrupt my weekend of playing Skyrim.

Good news: I got a beta invite at 6:30am this morning!

Bad news: I was super excited since I have veterans day off, only to realize it doesn't even start until 6pm EST on Friday. Fuckers.
