Ladder seems to be back. Jumped from 7th to 3rd somehow. Couple of poop sockers in my league so doubt I'll be going above 3rd or 4th.

What keyboard is that? I currently use the Razer Blackwidow, but I think I might spend a little more on my next one. Preferably a quieter one.
Pretty much yeah. You probably won 4-5/5 of your placement matches. Just work on your macro initially, unless you're protoss in which you need to work on forcefeilding properly, since while protoss macro is the easiest out of the 3 races it won't do you much if you don't survive stim timing or other such pressuresDTKT said:

The placement system is a joke. They pit you against bronze and silver players and if you win 4 or 5 games you end up in platinum or diamond.

Just got back from work... fuck me, I can't believe I could have died on my way home.
I was driving in 90km (144mph?) and this old fucking dude drove past me and then took my line. Just TWO SECONDS after that he brakes hard FOR NO APPARENT REASON. I was like 20 meters behind him and if I hadn't taken a quick left I would've definitely hit the bastard in that speed.
Holy cow, I need to reevaluate some things now... my body is still shaking over it...

There could be other reasons he braked like he did, but I've heard of people doing that as an insurance/lawsuit scam. Who knows, that seems like higher speeds than you would normally want to try it at. Glad to hear you're alright though.Yoshichan said:

It also sets up the potential for them to sue you for the accident I suppose. Like I said, the speeds you described are faster than what it would normally be attempted at. People that do it are desperate enough for the money (and obviously complete pieces of shit) that they're willing to risk their life as well as the lives of others.
