Considering the way Sony treat old games, the PS6 probably won't have backwards compatibility.

I don't get it. For monthly games okay, focus on your current plattform, but the extra and especially the premium catalgue is about older or really old games? Shouldn't the PS4 only games still be rotated in and out there as long as they have some pull on customers and just have them for "we have x hundred games"?

They might use it to justify a future price increase. "We're adding PS4 classics to the Premium tier" (and we're increasing price)

It's not like Sony ran out of PS4 games to add to sub plans. And they are BC with PS5 anyway.

Premium, as it is right now, definitely does *not* justify its price, to me at least. PS3 games being available native, instead of cloud stream, would make it a much better prospect.

Considering Sony is sticking with AMD, there is no reason to think PS6 won't have BC.

PS4 still gets exclusive releases every month.

PS4 versions of games are $10 cheaper.
