release dates can be announced outside of shows/state of plays.

Dude, for someone who is on here and talking about vidya so much, why do you forget that they do those as well?

All their big hits had dedicated ones closer to launch, but they also had release dates prior.

Obviously they'll have some 1st party announcements for PSVR2 games, but Sony also mentioned the functional duality between PSVR2 & PS5, so I'd hope to see at least couple surprise games there.

No reason to be pessimistic. I'm sure the PSVR2 will get a dedicated showcase in September, where Sony can save the spotlight for the entire month INSTEAD of trying to squeeze it in during all of these events.

I couldn't be less excited for the movie, but a well made game could be great. The setting lends itself well to a videogame.

Its June then, if they dont announce GOW then, you can bet your ass cheeks that its going to be pushed back to 2023. If it were to come out this year it means in the next 5 months and I dont see them anouncing a release date so late or so close to the actual release like 3 months before its out.
